Top 100 Favourite Characters

The multiple 70s mean they got equivalent numbers of votes, so there's no ordering between them. Japanese rankings basically count that as them all being tied for 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, and 75 interchangably. This makes sense since it's top 100 list, and I have like no idea why it doesn't add up (94 isn't 100). This isn't an end-all, be-all list, the people at the end only got 4 votes. Still worth reacting to:
Gah, I hate Lelouch, Kira, and Aslan, though it's funny that Haruhi was overshadowed by all the Sunrise boys... Alan and Tamaki own, and Hitsugaya is like my favorite character in Blade Battlers, even if I've never seen that far in Bleach... ^^; Gah, more Sunrise and also Ed... What the hell is with both Sakuras being listed? That's sorta cheap... Hate Kanda... The other Haruhi should be higher! Gah, Negima... Any shinsengumi member with a bazooka is wholly deserving of spot 19. Zura! Nana I haven't seen/read... Dammit Shinn Asuka, get the heck out of spot 23 and go get yourself a character design!

I'm actually surprised that Nausicaa made it on there (#24).
Also, all the main characters of Tsubasa Chronicles are listed. XP Should've figured that...

EDIT: I just noticed, at the #57 spot... doesn't that look like a Pokemon character? Looks like the animation style, anyway.

Overall this chart is what I expected. It's very disorienting since the numbers are all in Japanese order and it doesn't go straight from 100 - 1. But I do like that some of my favorites made it onto the list (I don't much care where they landed in ranking). But I find it a bit alarming that Rei is on the list, but not Asuka. I've always considered the idea that Asuka > Rei
to be commonly understood.

I would have thought they would have Sven in it as well from gundam even though there were little episodes of him. But I'm glad they had Suigintou and Shizuma in it. I consider them placing Saber too low for the Top 100s and they should add some more too from Fate/Stay Night.

i dutifully agree. Rei was interesting at the begining of the series, but just became boring, the ome we found out shes a tool over a human.

im surprised on the lack of a few characters... like vash the stampede (lol, i cant spell),spike, or Alucard.
you figure their kickassery would warrent at least one position in top 100... certainly over naruto, THATS for sure!

I don´t know why, I have saw some of the animes showed there but most of them I haven´t watch, it gives me the wish of watching them... does anyone feel like that?

You have to remember this chart should be based on the japanese fandom. I'm pretty sure in japan they have a Rei Ayanami fetish.

This list is a godsend.

Who #1 is, I have no clue in hell. However, within the top 10 there are 3 gundam character's(a little surprising about kira, but I'll go with it) and a bundle more AFTER that.

I find it funny-The main character in Bleach-Ichigo kurosaki come's in at 70 while the coolest guy ever-toshiro hitsuguya came in 7th. Not to mention byakuya came in 43-who lost to kurosaki, and Gin Ichimaru-A primary antagonist in the serie's come's in 54th.

Oh and Naurto fan's-Tell me where is he?

Damn straight-he's one of the last one's. Surprisingly, though he share's the coveted 90th rank with Haseo...

Lelouch, from Code Geass. He personifies everything that's wrong with Sunrise anime characters though, and should have died early in the series. That's what I like about Death Note, it's the first show in like twenty years that makes me cheer for the good guy.

frankly, I'm more than a little dissapointed at some of the choices, and I'm quite pissed that Rei Ayanami (the only Eva character on the list w00t!) wasn't even in the top 20.

A SEED character getting the number one spot? Heresy to the gundam franchise!!! (besides the original mobile suit kicks all other gundam's ass), not to mention the other 3/4 SEED charatcers on the list-- pure cheese.

Oh well.
