Yes, it's the same for all Lost Weapons, why would they be different? And "Galleon Maze" Is the Japanese name for the Lost Ground the Lost Weapons were sealed in.

the reason you have to do all this is cause they're the ULTIMATE weapons in the game for the epitaphs. They're okay in vol2 (compare ticking death to heine's), but they seem to be the 'Ultima weapon' of .hack

o ic.Sry newbie here XD so u mean by upgrading lost weapons u upgrade their attack powers in the avatar fight? The 'ultima weapon' of .hack didnt help me when im fighting ovan....but doppelgangers' sure did ~.~ if only i can switch the ultima scythe in the avatar fight with heine's zero

weapons and the like don't contribute to avatar fights.
Skeith's stats are set (mostly, that only levels and certain events change that).
Avatar fights are mostly skill, watching, dodging.

Each Lost weapon has 5 levels
From 1 -> 2 its 10 virus cores to upgrade
2 -> 3 is 25
3 -> 4 is 50
and to upgrade to level five, you fight a level 135 guardian, with status affects identical to the weapon in question.
Also, they are hands down, by far, the best weapon per class. The final upgrade of Haseo's Scythe has 75% HP absorb and 35% SP absorb, surpassing the Heine's Zero for absorb (it lacks the uber-critical tho :( )

Although, certainly not the best in the game, seeing as how DG-Z is, arguably, a WMD with no match. Same with the シラード (shiraado?), the best Heavy Blade.

Just Data Drain monsters. They all give them.

The best way is to fight either two large monsters or one large monster nad two small.
That way you get four instead of three, which is if you fought three small monsters.

edit: just thought I'd mention that the weapon level is always 75 after you upgrade it. I have no idea why this is, but I guess it's so you can't all of a sudden not use them if you upgrade them.

Sorry for asking...just curious though. I've been hearing that the DG-Z is the best weapon but I was just wondering why? Damage output? Stats? Or is it just the best Dual Gun you can get (neverminding the other weapons).

You use them to upgrade the Lost Weapons, and after you do that, any more you gather can be traded in a shop in Raven's @Home.

If that gun is the forest of pain completion gun I heard it has the same death effect the Hein's Zero has.

Meaning the gun drains 95% max HP upon critical hits every time.

*ehem* anyway... yes, it does do just that. Its made so incredibly awesome by the fact that you can do that and be as far away from an enemy as possible. Meaning you can pretty much neglect the distance factor which reduces the gun's damage, since you can negate almost all their health, then have some teammate ****-slap him into oblivion.

Add the Dopple armor and Accessory, which basically makes you a doppleganger, and you are now the *true* god of The World.

However I don't recommend using that gun when fighting against doppleganger if you haven't already killed it by this point in game.

He juggles the crap out of anyone if you use dual guns against him...
