You'll need to collect cores, for your Lost Weapon. Mwahahahah....mmyes..

yeah but I can do that in GU cause the animation looks way better than kites in 1-4, and the Cores will be for the best weapons, not for gate hackings which could make you shat yourself if you missed one

No, there's no Gate Hacking now, just Sign Hacking, which is the same thing but with Signs and Data Seeds. There's also Adora Keys and normal Virus Cores to collect too, though there's a lot less of them making you collect things to continue the story...

Vandalizing probably? Either that or Ovan can SIGN hack also.

He made the signs so he can let people use sign hacking and find clues or something
And that's not true, but its what i think.

weren't they used for transportation purposes?

Nah the real reason why Ovan uses SIGN is really simple
Ovan just wants to piss off Piros.
Why else did he expect Piros coming in Vol 1
It's probably more use for illegal transportation however, for quick exits, and since he's under watch by administrators at time, it'd be best to take SIGN routes, since it doesn't seem as though they can be tracked through SIGN.

that seems true enough. though i would suspect the signs to have a deeper meaning to thier existence. sure we have the ways but we don't have the means. from what we know the signs can be used to warp to different locations and are most commonly seen in a lost ground. yet there must be a reason for the signs to be created in the first place. a set of circumstaces that makes thier application and exploitation nessessary.

The Signs are the only way to travel between Za Warudo and the AIDA Servers, which is important, since it seems that the AIDA are born there.

Yeah, and well the best speculation I can see is that some idiot released the AIDA in the AIDA server, or an intense battle might have caused it. Because as we see in the end of Volume 1 there was an AIDA in a locker, and as it only seems to appear, can't make a full conclusion, but it seemed to have still been growing, and then it finally grew enough to make it's own stronger physical manisfestation in The World.
Though I dunno if the locker opened because
A. It reacted with AK's battle (Unlikely) since it has no reason to react with a simple program.
B. It reacted with Epitaph Users (Slightly Likely) however it would have reacted while Atoli Haseo Kuhn and Pai were talking.
C. It reacted with the actual Avatar battle due to the frequency of Skeith's Epitaph being practically quadrupled due to it being released.. (Likely)

Good point, or it could be that The Azure knights couldnt destroy it so they sealed it, and since they were in the area they threatened to release it so Azure kite came to investigate. And since they destroy him, the power used to seal it was gone and it came out

Personaly I believe Ovan planted that AIDA in the locker to steal Atoli's epitaph. Azure Kite goes in to destroy it (and technically save Atoli), but Haseo kills him before he can get the AIDA (great job Haseo!). The AIDA just waited for the oppurtune moment (like when Azure Kite was killed). AIDA are alot smarter than they are given credit for.

WRONG!
Tsukasa's real name is An Shoji.
The teacher's name is Michiru Tajima

I agree with everything except one thing.
I doubt
Ovan wanted to have her epitaph stolen. I've barely seen videos for Vol. 2 and i know little anyways, but remember, it was Atoli who sensed AIDA in the first place. So Ovan more likely just made Atoli mad and 'lured' her into that place, which would force Haseo and co. to save her. Then he surely expected AK to come because of the AIDA activity, and Haseo would be forced to fight him.
Why Ovan would have done all that anyways?? ...He's Ovan

It could be.
But not because Ovan wanted to get strong, but because
Cubia would be getting more power, and eventually enough to be freed with an own form, and somehow able to be defeated by that time

maybe....but ovan would be gettign stronger becuz of the arm...we see he was able to get away after kuhn had awakened in roots....so he must have gotten more power...in volume two,he has the power to take on the TSN all together and pwn them....and while he could only take on one before...

But why Ovan would like to gain power himself?? He wants Haseo to get stronger, not himself. And he only pwns the TSN because they're annoying him.
