Rena and Shugo just have a close brother/sister bond, that's all. They love eachother very much in the way a family loves the other members of the family. I think they are a rarity though, two siblings enjoying eachother's company so often. ^^;;

Rena is only jealous of other girls around Shugo, mostly Zefie, because of how she refers to him as her brother. Rena doesn't want to share her brother with some AI.

I agree with Murray. They just have a very strong sibling bond. Plus as Rena stated in vol. 3 and in episode 8, Shugo always made her feel better too. So can we please stop with the "incest" stuff because that's not what's happening here.

Sometimes, things seem a little, um, odd between Shugo and Rena. I know they don't have romantic feelings toward each other, but some of the scenes almost make it look like they do.

Shugo and Rena are bother and sister but there's a lot of awkward moments in the manga and the television series that make you wander about those two.
