That's true, but what I'm curious of, now is more of a when will this one take place? Would it be after we free Ovan if he becomes free? Or maybe close to the final battle in a way.
And be patient about the trailer thing, if the Japanese won't upload it we have a week/two wait, since unless someone's in Japan with the disc right now that's english/french/spanish/whatever isn't japanese. They'll have to wait a week or so for it to reach their house across the seas, if they even ship it anyways. Either that or unless the Official Japanese Site pops it up sooner or later.

I think Ovan is doing more then just trying to expose CC corp. It seems like he's trying to start some sort of revolution (and by that i mean the dictionary definition, to create a sort of change, not like a war). He may be the enemy but he is impressive, it is understable that Sakaki would work with in, even if it is only to further his own goals.

too many things are happening all at once @.@
sakaki will probably rebal against ovan and use him. might explain why he looks concerned in a screenshot. plz the aida is taking control over him much more then last time. i wonder how haseo gets infected though....

More like see it. It's in a collage(horribly made) of screenshots in the other thread titled Trailer Captures. 3rd page and the set of links that aren't 4chan.

Trailer.
Apparently, once he is cured, he gains Xth Form.

Ovan the revolutionary! Thats pretty interesting but why does he want Haseo to become stronger? Does Ovan want to die so he can be reborn?

Ovan wants Haseo to be strong enough to defeat him. Well we have no idea why Ovan wants to die, probably to remove the
AIDA.

Or out of guilt for what he's done and that he knows that his plans have gone horribly wrong (maybe the AIDA is starting to gain complete control).

Ovan's reason for wanting to die wouldn't have anything to do with what Ovan has done to encourage that end. Ovan wanted Haseo to become stronger from the very first day they met, back in Roots.

Kuukai wrote:Actually, it says "CC creating false charges." Am I the only one who thinks this sounds really cool, as it implies some sort of "The Trial of Ovan" scene? And Salvador Aihara steps forward with his three weeks of nighttime law courses to defend him! That really would make the last episode of Online Jack the best one ever, as was claimed... Regardless, the protesters are awesome on so many levels.
think you can backtrack for me a little, i havent been totaly on the whole ovan and charges thing.

How can Ovan have time luring Haseo in The World, yet still start a protest?

In the trailer screencaps, a sign says that.

Ovan is always one step ahead of everyone. Haseo, Yata, project G.U.. This guy is like Helba on steroids. Not saying Ovan is a hacker but he is just as capable in assertiveness, cleverness, and initiative.
In short, Ovan plans for just about everything. Whatver Ovan can't handle down the road, Haseo will.
edit: Okay i've just thought of something. If Ovan and Phyllo have the same problem and Haseo is Ovan's future, will Ovan's fate be similar to that of Phyllo? Or will the fate of Ovan rest upon Haseo? Where would Shino play into Ovan's plan?

I'm starting to thing that Ovan will die like Phyllo

The ending theme is sad. Could that be the reason? i wonder.

So now in the universe of .hack, AIDA infections are much more dangerous than smoking?

It could be. Atleast in Ovan's case. AIDA can cause coma's, so the danger of death is certainly there. Data Drain works by basically tricking the human mind into thinking they're dead, and AIDA have demonstrated minor mind control, so logically, they can take that mind trick a bit further.

i know how Data Drain works. i'm thinking Ovan will somehow pull himself into 'the world'. Ovan is the Rebirth and you can only imagine what Corbenik can do.

No, the "tricking you into thinking you're dead" thing was only in the Udeden anime. Data drain (coma mode) works by "pulling" the target's mind across the boundary between the game and reality...
