Tie-in
Do you think they are going to tie-in .hack//Legend of the twilight bracelet to G.U. I cant think of ne other way for them to do that besides doing it like that. If they are in fact using Kites role extensively in G.U. Do you think Kite might be in a coma?

I think the party controls in this game are genius! you can control individual party members to do certain tasks, you can have them use specific items skills and spells, i think its just as good as the last one.
I do miss some of the functions like staying still and assigning players to targets, but then why not just set them to a skill and pick a target for them.
In arena battles i send kuhn to land a Plectra bullet on one person, a King hammer with pai on someone else, then i go for the Leader with Bone Crusher, Easy victory. I think this style of gameplay is a bit more convenient, and the access to skills and spells is ALOT easier, breaking it down into healing/lowering - Spells - Arts
Also Kite is not in a coma, he's in college, this Kite of Azure flame is
part of a tree-Avatar Survellance network called Tri-Surveillance Network or TSN. The three are programmed by CC Corp to attack AIDA and repair the System, but Yata doesn't really understand Tri Edge well enough. that or he's playing on more than he seems, Ovan is the Real Tri Edge, and can't truely control his Epitaph, along with the AIDA infected arm he seals away in that box, Similar to Bordeuxs little situation in Volume two along with Sakaki as well.
Kite is not in Coma, Kite, OUR Kite the REAL KITE, is not in this GAME! they aren'y gunna include legend of twilight bracelet either, it was a side spoof till GU was under way.
Also that whole myspace comment, if you ever consider that as a source, i suggest you keep it to yourself, the onyl true sources are Cyebrconnect 2. dothack wikia, The world Magazine, and Famitsu.

its a badly supported theory Kite couldn't be back in the new game since the world was destroyed, Kites character data was gone, they rescrapped what was remaining and Created Kite of the Azure Flame. along with Balmung of Azure Sky and Orca of Azure Sea. Kite was never put into Comatose, so neh. Also Kite of Azure flame can't be infected by AIDA because he kills them! thus making him an Epitaph AI. along with Orca, and BalmungDotHack-Haseo wrote:Has ne 1 here seen the japanese volume 2 trailer? in it it shows kite fighting ovan. My cousin Jeremy has a japanese ps2 and the 2nd volume I havent seen it myself but it sounds really good. But on an off note everybody tell me wut u think of this theory.
Wut if Ovan is the real Tri-Edge? in the second trailer it shows Kite, Balmung and Orca fighting Ovan. And in some videos I saw on myspace it shows Haseo fighting Ovan And Pi and Kuhn(or was it Atoli)get knocked out by Ovan's Aida tenticle looking thing that he apparently keeps hidden under his big arm.
Wut if the real Kite is Actualy in a Coma? and his player character has become infected By Aida. Because Ovan Put Kite in the Coma and infected his player character himself? IIts just a theory guys give me ur input on it please.
an american PS2 cannot play japanese games on its own, it needs a game reader or a mod chip to do it. ALSO Ovan knows this cus HE'S TRI EDGE! Thats why he knows, The majority of us pieced that together way early like when the game was released in japan, we also watched roots and found that information out through that as well. also if you pay attention to when haseo falls unconcious on the floor and everything he sees is all staticy, the person he sees at the Door is Ovan.DotHack-Haseo wrote:U know how at the beginning Ovan told Haseo:
"Tri-Edge, will be back today...at the scene of the crime"
How would Ovan possibly know that. Piece that together from the japanese trailer and u come up with that theory or i did ne way need further proof? goto myspace and look up the haseo vs. ovan fight.
And no u dont need a japanese ps2 to play japanese games thats just wut he has and really all u need is wut u stated.

No. Close, but no. :B
SPOILER:
Ovan is indeed the real Tri-Edge, so bravo on that. As for Azure Kite (Kite, I suppose you could call him), it's not really confirmed what he is. :/ It's most likely he's part of the TSN though.
I believe that stands for Tri-Survallience Network. There are suppose to be three entities that regulate The World and keep it in order. More that likely, this TSN is composed of Azure Kite, Azure Orca, and Azure Balmung. Why? Because they continually destroy AIDA and pursue Ovan.
But why'd Azure Kite Data Drain Haseo? Simple. In Roots, his character was illegally boosted to a powerful level by the AI Harald. Because his character data was "corrupted," Azure Kite "fixed" him.
Ovan, the Tri-Edge responsible for the coma victims and the Signs, is also an anomally in the system. It is for this reason that the Three Azure Knights pursue him to no end. They really have no choice but to 'fix' the system. It's their programmed job.
Of course, whether or not they are the TSN is unconfirmed speculation, but it does fit. :B
And that's where I'll leave off. :3

Pretty good. I was wondering whether or not Kite data drained Haseo in self-defense, or if it was because of his character being sorta cheated.
Then again, I think Haseo had reached level 133 in the Forest of Pain, and when he was shot back out, he was awarded with a few job extensions for completing the event. Herald didn't do anything but torture him. Herald's original award would've been that pair of twin blades.

Haseo did gain a few levels in the Forest of Pain, but certainly not to level 133. The max is only 150. xD AI harald definetely boosted him up some. :BNukasa wrote:Pretty good. Remember though, he was a newbie when he entered that forest, and the forest has monsters that are above the max level. Since he defeated them, after using tons of healing items and having that blue-haired boy/girl heal him a few times while fighting, he gained levels fast. After completing the quest, he got the job extensions as a reward, but didn't get the main reward (the swords), because he chewed out Herald when he asked about his daughter.
Fighting something way stronger than you would definately boost your level by a lot.

He wasn't a complete newbie. :B He'd been playing for two months when Shino fell into a coma. So it's natural to assume he was fairly strong when AI Harald struck him. He defeated Asta and IYOTEN easily enough.Nukasa wrote:Remember though, he was a newbie when he entered that forest, and the forest has monsters that are above the max level. And yeah, chewing out a giant, red, floating, upside-down man after completing a quest is something really stupid to do. xB

I'd say the PKers were about level 20-30, though. It took one hit to take down Asta, and two for IYOTEN from Ovan. His level itself isn't really confirmed. The time from the 8 monthes in roots, and the game could've changed his level by a lot. He could've only been level 60 when he rescued Haseo, then leveled up to whatever he was at when they fought him in Vol.2. So, Asta and IYOTEN would've been pretty easy for Haseo to take down, since he was doing some heavy leveling.
