you know, at this point I'm kinda hoping they won't give Haseo a catchphrase. Naruto was one of my favorite animes, and seeing how Toonami screwed it up, I'm horrified as to what they would do to .Hack//Roots... o.o

They shouldn't change haseo's character from the video game.

Since Haseo's standards as a character are already set by the game, to change it would completely screw it up.

Naruto didn't have any games in the US until AFTER the english anime came out so they could do whatever they wanted.

So unless they have ratards working for them, in-game Haseo will be anime-Haseo.

I hope they air it late friday nights like they did with IGPX. Maybe then they can keep thier profanity. If I hear any "darnit!!!" when a character looks like they're cussing, I'll have to stop watching it on cartoon network

someone on imdb.com said that an Andrew Francis would be the VA for english Haseo... not the english VA from the vol. 1 video game... if this is true, well it's just stupid

also, I tried looking up Andrew Francis and got no results for voice acting so he might've been lying >.> i hope

IMBD is worthless most of the time. :/ Like Wiki, anyone can edit it, so the information should be taken with a grain of salt unless you know an actual source.

Anime News Network has Yuri Lowenthal down as Haseo, as well as Jamieson Price as Ovan...

...Its no real confirmation, of course, but we can't get any until someone sees the credits at the end of Roots.

Well I'll be looking forward to any complaints/death threats/compliments/reviews on the US premier of Roots. I'm not in USA so I can't see Roots in english... yet, and I gotta go back into my den of pillows so I won't be here when you guys watch it. :(

There's a chance they'll have the Ending theme with the credits still in Japanese... because Bandai's like that.

It's on right now. IS it me or are Ovan and Haseo's voices different from the game?

Ugh, why is the episode being sped up? You can totally tell by the animation AND music in the background is being sped up. It's kind of annoying o_o I dont like Phyllo's voice so far D:

They are... I was looking forward to hearing Jamieson Price. Well, this isn't too bad, but Ovan sounds too casual from time to me. Naobi isn't voiced by Blum, either. Hopefully at least Yata will.
