Everybody led a healthy life style and didn't play for hours and hours at a time, except Maybe Ovan,
Two Month's of happy go lucky, Twilight Brigade fun
One month of disunity
Shino finally disbands the Brigade
Perhaps a couple of weeks, being alone with and emotionally supported by Haseo, then Data Drained.
Haseo's Change, which may be a couple of weeks as well. Most likely his quest to become stronger ended at the Painful Forest I'm sure a month had passed by then.
Two month's of Tri-Ege searching and PKKing... there are undoubtedly some screw up's in this.
Your guess is as good as anyone's though.

Wow
Haseo joins game..and gets pwned
Haseo wonders which guild to join
Haseo Joins Twilight Brigade
Search for Virus Cores
Ovan's disappearence
Sakisaka's quitting
Shino's change
Small time waiting for Ovan
Shino finnaly DD'd
Haseo goes angry and trains
'Painful Forest' created(I would assume this lasted a week)
Haseo gets PUMPED UP
PKK'er Haseo saga = =; + 100 PK status ( Seriously, he was infected from ep 18-24 which is propably a month or two)
Terror of Death, day or two later. Ovan reappears back into Haseo's gay arms and tells him that TE is really a girl wants to get his number and tells him to meet up in the Cathedral

Haseo likes that alot now doesn't he?
Haseo prays(For some shino love)

I mean look at him, he's gonna cry
He is shocked to see TE is a man and then pwns him with 2 blades while he had 4 weapons(Each dagger, chainsaw sword, scythe) and then he lags out and appears never to return until the next time...Keep looking to the stars.
All that, 6 months time O_O
Side-note: You can see where my own imagination sorta took it's own course.
Actually: 8 months: 2 before Ovan got trapped (ep. 11-12) and 6 months, after.

Yeah, Haseo said six months because that was how long Ovan had been missing. It's been eight months since he started the game.

did anyone from //Roots listen or ask how things were portrayed in GU lol? The idea T-E was being a ninja and flat out pwned Haseo wasnt even in the fight scene in GU (more like Haseo charged in and T-E just defended himself until he pressed his hand on Haseo's face and blew him away. Then after his weapon breaking is when he did the DD.)...

Well you could look at it this way. Anything that happened in vol.1 is the true story. Thats how I will look at it.

Different ways of doing the same scene. The end was result was the same in both cases.

Yeah as far as I see it, Haseo and Tri-Edge fought. Haseo lost.

ah, though the interesting part (though by no means a problem of continuity) is that they weren't.
haseo disappears after being DD'ed in roots. but in GU he falls to the ground, with extreme damage to his data, and just before he blacks out he sees ovan.
makes you wonder what happened between being DD'ed and reappearing at the chaos gate.

I havent played the game yet but from the impression I have, Haseo eventually is logged off (typical gameplay logic dictates that if you die you get game over and have to restart from last save) and has to log back in, which s when he finds all his emailsdeleted. So the whole bit w/ him disappearing ( finally saw e fight.YAY!) I would assume happened in both versions. Otherwise, he'd of woke up in the Cathedral or something.
Tri and Haseofight
Haseo loses and is DD'd
Haseo disappears as a result of death in game just like he's supposed to
Haseo logs in again.

They had to make the fight a bit more interesting

. It aint exciting with Tri-Edge standing there like Garra defending all the attacks ~ it has been done in Naruto ~ otherwise it would be declared Tri-Edge is a rip off of Garra in the anime.

Well Saburo being there could have made it to where the word started to get out about anyone being killed by him are deleted maybe?

maybe this episode is telling us about the beginning of GU, based on another point of view. that´s why, we didn´t see the entire battle between Haseo and T-E. THis could explain some points that the game didn´t.

Was he REALLY Data Drained? I mean in the anime, it doesn't even look like Tri-Edge had the time to pull off the Data Drain. Saburou pretty much caught the entire fight with "her" own eyes. It just looks like he got beat up bad and stuff. It could be something insane like Tri-Edge has a program in his weapons to remove illegal thingies <Haseo's Third Form Hax!!!!111one> or maybe he did Data Drain him.
As of this point, Roots is making me go "Wtfux" instead of "Oh I understand" now.

I say he data drained him. just cuz we dont see him whoop out the bracelet ( we really dont see him at the end of the fight at all), means nothing. That stuff that swirled around Haseo(the stuff from data drain). That would further complicate things if he had some ability to just to that plus data drain.

Pai calls Tri-Edge's attack "Data Drain" and Haseo is surrounded by the Data Drain/Protect Break effects, AND he returns to level 1 in episode 25.

Most likely they think the admins did it to him, after all he did kill 100 Pk'ers..thats just too dangerous to keep around O.o; He might even take over the 'World' with that kind of rumour around him.

Even though PKing isn't really an illegal activity at all?

and on that note...you would think the admins would appreciate the guy doing PKKing.
I mean, if I were a PKer, I would rethink my way of life the second I heard of a player who hunts down PKers...
Haseo was a pretty good discouragement against PKers. PKing probably isn't a bannable offense, but it does ruin the game for others...what better way to enforce an unoffical rule than an "unoffical solution" that acts independant from CCCorp.
