Mine takes a few seconds to load for gate hacking only, everything else seems fine...

The lagging is normal I guess. It happen when I'm being ambushed by a unit of monster mostly four who are using magical skills at the same time.

Lagging?
I haven't played the games in a while, but I remember there was no lagging. When an enemy used a magic attack on me, I remember being not able to move completely. But no lag. ;o

It's possible it might be because of how much dust has collected inside and how old the Playstation2 is. I've kinda developed a habit of cleaning the areas around the playstation2 as well as in/outside. It kinda help but the game will still lag.

that wasn't lagging it was the effect of there spells so that it hits.
anyways, i never had lag that continued on and on, one time my game freezed on me during data drain but that was at it's worst.

Yeah, I lag whenever Gate Hacking. As I fly, it freezes for half a second... But then, you already knew that, right?

I have the oldest, bulkiest PS2 there is out there and it works perfectly. No problems whatsoever. It dosent even lag. So ha...

Mine lags, but i skip the Gate Hacking and Data Drain FMVs anyway.
