In regards to the fight, I'd say that Haseo ineitably wins in the end, because dothack has always emphasised the power of human potential. The fact that players such as Kite and Haseo can raise up and fight against the anomolies ofthe game, while playing by the game's rules, which could be twisted by th game itselfsays it all. Harold's work even focuses on human potential.

So Haseo would find some way toovercome Tri-edge...or he could just vanish or BIG TWIST:Tri-edge joins your party or Tri-edge attches to another player. There's something I hadnt thought of. what if Tri-edgeis attached to a PC really, so you not only fight him asHaseo, but also as Skeith to separate Tri from the player

Sweet avi. Love Epyon....anywaysif you mean the tri attached to a player thing, aidas can take over a Player Character (PC), making them an AIDA-PC. Epitaphwielders like Haseo can use avatars like Skeith to fight AIDAs and they data drain the enem to separate them From the PC.

If Tri had been attached to a PC, then we cuold fight him as Haseo to finally beat him and as Skeith to separate him from the PC.

Wel what if he has that form because he attached himself to a player?
For all we may know, Tri may be controlling a partisan noob. He may have attached to another twinsword to better fit the desgn for Kite's template, you know Kite had twin blades so hook up to a twin sword for better compatibility. Tri may amplify the PC's fighting potential, but controls him when necessary, then leaving without the PC having any memory f what happened. That sounds ike an interesting concept.

I suppose you'd rather have it become one of those series that goes on and on senselessly, without any closure? I think we anime fans have seen enough of that. >.>

But again, we don't know Tri-edge stays a villain. He does seem to be opposed to the heroes at the beginning, but noone has even hinted at him being a recurring foe. It's all just speculation.

I hope these last three games bring a very compelling closure to the francise. I agree that it shouldn't go on mindlessly like many other games/anime out there.. Plus regarding THIS game's/anime's plot.. Well.. How many times can you make a MMOGoneCrazyAndHarmingRealPeople seem appealing? NOT trying to insult past or current games/anime/manga of .hack.. But I hope it ends with G.U. I mean, the plot seems to certainly be the best thing to end a high note on.

Also, I think Tri-Edge will remain Haseo's opposition. Aside from the appealing idea of having the untouchable Tri-Edge on your team, I doubt it'll happen. Or more so, I hope it DOESN'T happen.. Tri-Edge SCREAMS antagonist. More so now than ever. With his Drain Heart ability to repair himself you now have the ability to fight him over and over again. Sure, he may not be the "Final boss" but he's definatly going to be a mid-boss that contuinily stands in your path. I just can't precieve him to be anything less...

Ok I have been watching the vids over and voer going over the revealed plot and im thinking that Haseo is gonna get pwned over and over agian and agian but then somehting happens and Tri-Edge is afffected by some knida other data drain like by Skeith or somtin and then reaveals somthing like a "WAVE 2.0"

This is just a theroy im just so exsited 4 the new GU games

well, yeah. that's what ya get.

i still say that haseo will win. not that i want to see tri-edge loose(because i don't) but since we are playing through the game, the bad guy would ultimatly have to be defeated, and since at the moment, we know for sure that he's one of, if not the main bad guy!

there's only one way i see haseo loosing, and that's by double KO. haseo and tri-edge kill one another at the same time. doubtful, yet possable.

Conclusion of this...

Haseo wins.

But dont get so upset because Tri-Edge killed him once before. Then Haseo has gotton revived and looking for revenge.

I'm not exatcly sure on my theroy but,if he turns into cubia and loses control or has control,he can still beat tri-edge. Haseo Turns into Skeith if i'm correct. But then again Tri-Edge might have his supprioer from which we have not found out about YET.

Tri-Edge would go in some kind of DEATH mode to kill haseo while he is in Skeith mode. Infact if this happens they might both be deleted from the world.
They would fight in a outer world not in any orignoal gateway. Most likley if you seen the video with ANNA the AI in it,they would fight somewhere there.

So basicaly haseo comes for revenge and then we dont know whats going to happen. REMEMBER ITS A THEROY!I dont have any proof its just a Theroy. Thanks.

Well.. That theory is false.. And so I don't somehow tick off the higher ups, I'll put it in...

Haseo doesn't become Cubia. He becomes Skieth. It's solid proven fact as of now.. So I doubt what you said would happen. Sorry but please check your information better, please.
