I guess that's true, but from my own experience, I've still heeded its affects. :/ I've been at level 99 since right after I finished, and I lost 600 experience points in one dungeon data draining for items. . . . And I was barely even green, as far as infection level. I really don't go past yellow because if I lost a lot of valuable time from it, I WOULD kill my PS2.
But maybe that all was just my luck.
