Is Play something I can find among gamer mags at the typical newsstand, or is it subscription-exclusive?

Play is on the newsstand with the other gaming magazines.

I've never even touched a copy of Play; it's definitely one of the more "under the radar" gaming mags.

Oh, that is QUITE hip. Kuhn is already one of my favorite characters in the whole "World R:2" era (by which I mean collectively both G.U. & Roots). I can just tell he's going to be fun.

-_-' How completely unfair, an American preview and nothing for the Brits...or the Aussies for that matter.

I do not suppose there will be any chance of scans from the article? I am sure that even the pictures would be welcome, let alone the complete article.

Well, although different American publishers have different policies, it's copyright infringement to copy an article/post scans online without permission, and some publishers here can be pretty anal about it. Posting magazine scans from Japanese publishers is more commonly practiced and accepted, but we could always send a request.

As I am well aware, Dothackers has been forced to remove scans of pages before.

Though, if I do recall correctly, you seemed to be capable of providing us with pictures taken from the pages. i would like to see these pictures of battles with Tri-Edge and Magus, not to mention anything else we have yet to see.

Of course, the real question is to do with information, many people seem rather vague on the subject, as if to say there is not, and yet they have confirmed that we will be fighting Magus and Tri-Edge.

So are you wondering, does the article talk about more about GU and that you will fight Magus later on?

The article really doesn't go into full detail like that.As I stated earlier,it's just basically an introduction to GU,explaining how much improvement it has gone through since the previous .hack games, the reviewer giving out his opinions on what he has seen so far.And an introduction to the characters in the game so far, along with what you would expect as first impressions with the game, nothing more.

Unless you are asking or referring to something else instead.

Why not someone make a list of people who wish to see the screenshots and PM the images to them. That would stop some of the spamming replies.

As long as it's not discussed anywhere on this site. Nenja: Bandai hasn't begun localization yet, so there's no English screens. Umbra: We decided to cease hosting the //G.U. manga here, but not the actual The World magazine scans.

well its becoming more popular. I personally think it mainly attracts the azn nerds who love anime.....a lot. Particularly the ones who wish they were japanese due to the fact that all anime ARE better in japanese. If u don't take my word for it... try watching an English version of Naruto

though we can't post I'm sure it's fine to talk about the pics. there was one on the bottom of page 16 that I was woundering about. it has Haseo running through the root town followed by two characters that I've never seen before. Now either there chasing him or there are two more characters that have yet to be revealed....really wish I could post the pic but rules are rules
