There are several movies said to be coming out based on games. I've heard rumors of Halo, God of War, and Devil May Cry movies coming out.
Now...think about how those games battles play out. Full of action.
My point is that a KH movie probably wouldn't come out too well. It would only make it worse if they brought Disney characters in it.
I admit, though, I did enjoy Advent Children, so SquareEnix may be able to figure out a way for it to work.

tch. no. Tomb Raider movies did not slaughter the game. The Cradle of Life was poorly made, but the original was pretty good and wasn't all combat. Tomb Raider is all strategy, so it stays true to the game. Especially since Tomb Raider Legend's coming.blackphoenix wrote:I can't remember a good translation from past games to movies. I'd rather not see KH slaughtered like Tomb Raider was...after the movies, the games kinda lost it's touch.
Thats not anime, its machinima. And yes, there is going to be an actual halo movie.Elk_Wave wrote:you do know halo already has an anime called red vs Blue right?? If it's Kingdom Hearts I? Yes. I love that game to death. When it first came out, my bro and I were all excited, and we built up speculation and anticipation, and then we played through it together and had one of the best times we've ever had playing a video game. Plus, I just love the elements of the first game--everything is new and unusual, and there's a sense of magical, childish fantasy that makes you feel both young and brave at the same time. And FF + Disney were blended together in a way that made SENSE.
If it's Kingdom Hearts II? No way. In fact, in my opinion, the sequel was almost completely unnecessary and they should have left it with the first game only. Which makes me think I'll never play Kingdom Hearts III--but that's a prequel, which is different, so maybe I'll look into it.
I doubt a movie will ever be made for the game, though. If it's a movie like Advent Children...what more can they really do for Kingdom Hearts that they could put into a movie? Or if it's just a movie adaptation (what I mean is, taking the game as it is and throwing it onto the big screen)--well, that's even more improbable. Most of the movie adaptations you see or hear about--ALL of the movie adaptations I've seen or heard about--are live action versions, because if the movies were done with CG (is that the right word?) graphics instead of real actors, the movies would practically be the same thing as the games themselves, only you're sitting there, watching it with no control over the procession of the plot whatsoever, and there's no sense in doing something like that. Especially if it's something you've already seen, and it looks exactly the same as it was when you first saw it. Look at the film adaptations that have come out of video games so far, like Bloodrayne and Silent Hill. They use real actors. They can't do that with Kingdom Hearts for...obvious reasons.

No one should ever have to see that.

This thread is almost a year old. Try not to revive threads over 6 months old. Thanks!{TM-IZM} wrote:Even if there was a Kingdom Hearts movie, the games only did so much.
I've played and beaten them, so I'm pretty satisfied. Though if there ever was a kingdom hearts movie, I doubt I'd see it, cause Kingdom Hearts isn't something I'm particularly a 'fan-boi' of.
