kite's fate?

well it's no so much the fact that people are claiming he has died, but the theory that he was DD then his body deteriorated and his soul was traped in the game with his avatar.

it just would be another tsukassa all over again, with a few difference's.

also, i'm not liking the fact that people can say that this is a fact without solid evidence or at least a source to back up their claim.

it wasnt Kite avatar that Shugo enharited, but they got avatars identical to those of Blackrose and Kite, so the data wasnt the same.

What I wanna know is why people do stuff like that? I don't see any point in making false rumours other than to get yourself scolded and sometimes trick noobs into beleiving you.

You answered your own question; Noobs.

You are all talking about this hoax as if it is some rumour based on fact. To clear this up once and for all, Kite is not dead, he simply stopped playing The World when he had saved it from Morganna.

He was alive in LotT, he will be alive in GU. Just because he is not playing a major active role does not mean he is dead.

Do not think I would state people's opinions as if they are fact, I will only ever say that something is fact if it is fact.

The .hack staff said that Kite is still alive and that he has a connection to Tri-Edge. You can also assume that he is still alive because we have not been told that he is dead.

me on the other hand has theories shot down at evey turn.

well then whoever said that kite was dead, where is your souce?

i know i may come across as mean, but i am realy annoyed that people say this without something solid to at least back it up. sorry if that offend's you.

Maybe you missed that bit of information, but like I said, you should assume that a person is alive until you have solid evidence that proves they are dead.

If Kite was dead, they would have said outright, this is a simple hoax meant to draw people to the wrong conclusions in an effort to frustrate those that know better.

I'm afraid that you, Tri_Edge1, appear to be falling for the hoax, as far as I'm concerned, this thread is pointless.

It seems Tri-Edge1 is correct, as far as I can tell, this was the first mention of Kite being dead. You can find the thread here.

Of course, he doesn't seem to realise GU happens seven years after the original games, not ten. As well as the fact that he appeared in LotT three years before GU as well.

There is no need to 'defend' people who have fallen for the hoax, you're simply drawing them further in. If you want people to separate truth from outright lies, you have to be clear and tell them the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

They would have to say it officially for people to buy the game purely out of interest, no one is going to try and find out about something that hasn't been mentioned. If Kite_2000 hadn't said so, then no one would buy the game to see if he was dead, the thought just wouldn't cross anyone's mind.

If you can point me in the direction of an official source that says Kite is dead, I will gladly agree.

While I agree that people are entitled to their own opinion, when it comes to hoax such as this, there is no opinion. There are those who believe the hoax and those who do not.

It is the duty of those who do not to confirm that the hoax is a hoax and put it to rest.

Whatever, I'm just annoyed with the fact that it has been blown so far out of proportion.

That is why I would like to end it here. This is a hoax, Kite is still alive and, until we have information confirming his death, we should always assume that he is alive.
