i wonder if Haseo will smell and feel pain like Tsukasa

Thats what I woundered about to and wounder about what happens if he dies. I think he can feel though.

I don't think he can feel pain or this would be a very, VERY bad experience for him.

If Haseo's situation is anything like Tsukasa's, not being able to leave 'the world', then he most likely will feel pain, etc. He would then be subject to the rules that govern his new home. Very painful and an experience like data drain, you can't really describe it. We can only imagine.

the coma thing is always happening in the .hack series T_T i thought it would only be in sign, the games and in LOTT >.> i guess its like some sort of tradition XD

The Terminal Disc. Aside from all of the extras on disc itself, I'm betting the concept of the terminal disc is meant for us to harness the idea that were playing through the point of view of someone who is unconcious(likely comatose) while at the same time leaving the simulated online MMORPG concept intact. They obviously put alot of thought into how they were going to combine storyline elements with the actual user interface.
