You guys are right on one thing: "SHUUUUGOOOO!!!" and "REEEEEEENAAAA!!!" get devastatingly old absurdly fast. God, there's like one dialog completely identical to this in pretty much every episode.

Whoever directed the voice acting must have fallen asleep constantly, drinking/doing drugs, and been very lazy or something. They probably got paid for doing squat.

Anyways, I think anything Shugo said was annoying and you know why?

No it's not because It was random, grating or anything like that. Of course I can't say that, I'm a BIG Shugo fan.

The reason is because Bandai killed his character by adding a guy who does incredibly high voices and just plain doesn't match Shugo.

I beginning to wonder if it would turned out better if ADV Films had the license because the voiceovers are great in their series.

I cant believe no one has mentioned this as a good quote yet:

"Shugo... how do I look?"

And I've only watched the first 4 episodes!

I thought when Shugo fell on his face and one of his teeth fell out of place was lame. But the funnies episode was the Get Well Grunty episode. I laughed when I read that episode on the manga discovering that when he data drained Cereberus it became Little Doggie and had trouble defeating it. that was funny! I laughed when I saw him nearly defeated by a Little Doggie when Shugo and Rena started playing "The World." I wasn't aware they use that joke again. I was surprised.

Little Doggie! Must kill, no matter how cute it is! Chosing not to kill it using a physical or magic attack he uses "The Death" to poison Little Doggie. As Little Doggie's hit points begin to drop Kite decides to chase it around the field. As the data drained form of Sled Dog runs for his life his life points reaches zero and his body become inaminate then fades away.
