"What is the color of success?" Azoth stood at the doorway when the password was given. He took two steps back and avoided the two spikes that thrust themselves into the air. He then sidestepped a falling blade, and backflipped in order to avoid the poison darts. When no more traps came, he knelt in front of the door. "Crimson My lord." There was a click, and Azoth immediately jumped back as a small spike shot out of the lock like a dagger. Then, sensing that he still lived, the door thrust itself open. Viridiana, the doorwatcher, stood in it's place. "Let me through," Azoth said, his pale blue eye's challenging her. "You were ex-" He was already behind her, walking into the main hall of the guild "pelled..." she finished.

((Lief, I'm gonna give you a great big hug, okay? One question, have you finished the Night Angel trilogy? Also, Kale doesn't need a guild, he just likes having one. Not everybody can be the protege of the legendary Durzo Blint. I really need to figure out what happened to my copy of The Way of Shadows, I want to reread them, but I can't rightly not start with it.))
Kale turned as if to leave and disappeared into the alleyway, he reappeared next to Sora. "That's Azoth. He's a wetboy. Depending on who you ask, they might just say he's an assassin, and they're not wrong, but it's a woeful understatement and leads to certain misconceptions. As for the Night Angel, don't worry about it. For a more stat oriented description, think of he and I as two shadows of the same person, similar but subtley different. If we decided to kill each other it would probably be an hour long match of hide and seek. Regardless, Wolf wants to see you in action and Death's bored so they'll be shadowing you on your little trek up to the next floor. Wolf makes it to the next floor safe with you and I'll have a gift for you, don't worry it won't be something I got from a kill, I know how you people can get over where things have been. Ta." Before the others got there, Kale disappeared much as Azoth had, but without the stalker comment.

Kale caught the poison darts, "I don't appreciate being called something as mundane as a murderer. We are not as different as you would like to believe." He stood in a nonthreatening but defensive stance.

(Alas, i'm only on Shadow's Edge. Love the series. I've got the trilogy but I haven't finished. Just got passed saving Logan from Hell's asshole. Or well. He's teamed up with Vi and is headed back towards the Hole. I didn't like how it said "No matter what he ate or did, he never had a smell" or whatever, because according to the first book while he's in training, he talks about Durzo smelling of garlic pretty heavily. If that's the only thing that penetrates his nonscent does that mean he'll end up doing that as well? Ah. but I digress from the topic at hand.)

Azoth didn't have to turn to notice who it was. They had clashed before, and quite frequently when it came to targets. "We aren't as similar as you would like either." Azoth turned to face him, "Arutayro?" he asked raising a brow slightly. Allowing his hand to rest on his hilt, next to his throwing knives. Then he turned and nodded towards Vi, allowing Kale to enter should he accept the term he left before him. Azoth was thus gone once again.

Sora: { he watches Kale disappear into the shadows} something tells me I got involved in something alot more than a petty rivalery between two players { he notices Azure death}...calm down { he sheaths his blade} I was just getting some practice In I wanted to make sure I wasent rusty before heading to the 65th floor it looks like we should wait for the other girl before we left also I don't intend for this to be a normal thing { he sits back down at the steps} Today I just want to survey if the boss is too formittable we'll warp back to Algad

Kale contemplated the question for several seconds. Arutayro, bloodless, he hadn't heard that in a while. It was an understood rule amongst members of the guild that they didn't kill one another, and he doubted if the others had ever heard it, much less understood it's meaning. "Arutayro." He agreed and followed, handing the darts to Vi as he passed.

"Dammit I'm late,I need to run".Said the little girl while running to he stairs,while running she was thinking if the legendary Sora would be there,of even if that one who they call Azure Death,a few moments after when she was almost caming there,she could see two players on the stairs,and finally caming there,she starts to talk."Hey so you two come?I'm really happy in see you Sora,but not you Azure" .What's this felling,I-I'm felling something bad,but I don't see or hear nothing."Hey did something happen while I'm not here?Well ,I think it'll be better talk while walking to next floor,right?".And then the Night wait for an answer while crossing the two to next floor.

Azoth leaned against the curving metal that was to be the door to a pub, unfortunately there was an absence of an actual door. "So Rose. I'm afraid any farther wouldn't be appreciated by The Night Angel and would be a violation of our agreement unfortunately. So no farther than this pub." The pub was the only thing that looked man made in the whole cave. Along the cave there were crystals jutting out as if reaching for passersby. But, they were invisible to the untrained eye, for no light shined through the tunnel, and the crystals had a strange habit of absorbing it anyways. Any light only made things darker."It's more of his formality than anything, but i'd rather not be dead, and i'm sure you wouldn't either." Of course during Arutayro you couldn't really take anything as a threat. Well, not until it's parameters were violated, it wasn't meant to scare, just to give the principles, "What are you really after? Otherwise you wouldn't have bothered to stalk me. And i wouldn't have really even noticed until you stumbled near that bakery. Smoke sometimes does that to me as well so no worries." The metal curved to make the doorway keyhole-like and the only real door was two shutters that would break any headwinds, but wouldn't stop people from entering. Unfortunately if you looked close enough you could see the many cracks and brittled pieces that showed it's true age.

"Oh, nothing..." Azure's 'half weapons' dissappeared and his gloves turned normal, and he walked at sora "hahah" Training... Alone? woah, either this guy has an imaginary friend, has my 'ability' or is hiding something... "The cat girl is here so..." He turned to Night "Wolf, you go behind us, we'll go, Kale won't be coming, at least not now... He has to deal with 'business'" He walked to the stairs "I'll go ahead, and tell you what i find... If i find a possible ambush, i'll tell you, the same for traps, and the army too.... They're still in there, i just saw one of them, and they're not too far either... So let's proceed with caution" He said, and his gloves turned white and black, right and left respectively, and the handle of his sword appeared and the sharp nail-shaped blades appeared on his left hand "Have your weapons prepared" He grinned "We'll have some fun" He finished with a cynical expression, and proceeded to the top of the stairs

He lowered his hood. "You wound me by accusing me of having ulterior motives." Kale sat in a chair near the wall. "But since you bring it up. I am curious as to why you get a monopoly on the Night Angel? Is it because you're lonely and the only people who share your company are those you're killing and those who have a measurable desire to see you dead?" He shrugged, "Well, my situation is only a little better. I'm sure half the guild wants my head so that they can claim my title, they don't seem to understand that it's just a couple of meaningless words, but it's good to know that should the need ever arise the rest of them have my back."

Azoth smirked slightly, "I wouldn't accuse you if i didnt think I was right." he sat opposite of him and steepled his fingers. "perhaps you're right. Maybe i'm just in need of company." Though, Azoth knew better, a wetboy's only company was death. "But if it was just curiosity you wouldn't be foolish enough to walk into the place. And we can't have you casing the place. Hence this." He gestured to all around the pub. "im not even supposed to be a part of this anymore anyways...Maybe if i was in a big enough need i'd join Rose. But you and i both know it's not companionship."

Sora: what a weirdo { referring to azure death}...and no I was just training waiting for you guys to show up Wolf-San { he wallks up the stairs as he immediatelly notices a group of monsters} wow allready { he unsheaths his blade as he gets into the stance that he was in his app which allready is an strange looking fighting stancee for a knight and before wolf and Azure notice Sora is allready engaging the first monster} haaaah! { he blocks an attack as he immediatelly counters by stabbing the monster and ripping upward as he blocks an attack from his left as he turns at a 360 degree angle as he slashes Horizontally breaking through the monsters guard and he finishes off the second monster}

"You say foolish, but you're not planning on killing me and I'm not planning on killing you. And we both know that you'd never join up with Rose, even if you asked I don't think I'd be inclined to let you in. Part of the guild's design is to gather a variety of skill sets, yours and mine are nearly identical, but you can always hire us." He looked down at his wrist, as if there were a watch there, "I should be going, there's been a request for the death of the upcoming boss. Someone actually asked me to deal with it. I don't mean hired, I mean they actually walked up to me and said. "Please kill the boss on the next floor Mr. Assassin sir." You can tag along, if you like." This was as close to asking for help Kale had ever gotten and much closer than he had ever wanted, he wouldn't even be here doing this, but as he had said earlier the guild's skill sets are varied and he wasn't confident the others would be able to sneak past the monsters like he and Azoth could. Plus, he could always just not do it since it was a request rather than an official job.

"What's the cut?" A fair question to ask. A wetboy didn't need gold to survive. He could take anything he wanted. But it was possible the boss held something he wanted. "Give me first pick at the inventory. That's my price." He held out his hand, offering Kale a choice, he could accept or he could leave. "Since when does the Guild leader act for free?"

Azure saw the monsters wich sora was fighting with "....... death...." his mind was gone, Azure wasn't in there anymore, now death ran to where the monsters were "death..." He said calmly, and his sword appeared and his sharp blades in his left hand turned into a scythe "Death...." He ran to the nearest monster and slashed it, avoiding it to hurt the fighting sora "death..." He said, and started slashing and smacking the monster reaping time... as he said this, everything he made to the monster, the other ones that weren't fighting with sora were affected "death..." Summon Creatures appeared from below and started slashing and bitting the monsters, killing two of them "....Death...." there were still two, and sora was fighting one, and death decided to finish this one, he jumped to the monster's head and slashed it's head, cutting it and killing the monster "dead..... Death...." He jumped back at Night and stayed in front of her "Death...." with her behind him, he watched everything, protecting her, and all with his right eye closed, he had never pened his eyes, at least no one has seen him with his right eye open, and the ones that had seen him didn't lived to say it

Sora: okay...that was f*Cking weird....what ever got to focus { he parries the monsters attacks left and right} <<DRive Calibur>> { he spins his blade around as Mana Starts forming into his blade as it enlarges and almost looks like it Crystalizes as it eminates the Radiance of Manaas he breathes softly he launches himself at a second group of monsters as he slashes past them as he stabs upward and mana erupts from the monster knocking them into the sky} haaaaahhh! { he jumps into the air as he slices through them and then he slices down ward as he lands on the ground the monsters erupt into mana and Sora's blade returns to normal}

"Take whatever you like off the body. I was just asked to kill it." Kale pulled the hood back up as he stood. "And as guild leader, I can do whatever I bloody well please. Besides, who said I was doing it for free. Not all rewards are monetary." He turned his back on Azoth. "Besides, it's been a while since I did something challenging, I'm getting complacent and flabby." Plus breaking the norm like this could be fun. "I'll see you at the boss, or not, whatever." Kale disappeared into the shadows.

Death, watching as how Sora finished the monster returned to normal, his eye wasn't blank anymore, and he said "Azure....." then his weapons dissappeared, but his gloves remained the color they were "......" It took him some seconds to recover himself "Now... They're all finished, let's get going" He pushed night ahead "stay in the center, that way i can't lose track of you, and my work is easier" He jumped again and went out of sigh "hmph" He said, as he jumped back and forward, looking for enemies but returning to keep at sora's and night's pace

Azoth leaned back against his chair and rested his hands on the back of his hands. "You've changed Deader. You've changed." Then, he was gone. not even darkness surrounded his space, he was simply gone.

Sora: { they encounter the boss room and Notice the door is Wide open}...no { he runs towards the door and all of a sudden his speed increases to the point where to Azure and wofl it looks like he's gliding along the ground he runs with such speed that his feet bareky touch the ground he's running as fast as even the top Assasin like players in the game}....{ as he stops he kicks up gravel and he Notices the Army engaging the Boss monster and the Army is having trouble Sora can only watch in horror and notice his own helplessness as the boss monster continueaslly pushes the army back and wiping out the soldiers one after the other } Dammit use a Warp crystal!

Soldier: we-We can't...this room its a Anti crystal ZONE!

Sora: No...an anti crystal zone I can't believe it the boss zone is classifying as a Anti crystal zone which mean use of all crystals is impossible healing crystals warp crystals...any crystal items can't be used

Leader of the current platoon: don't just run and Hide men we are <<The Army>> we are the guiding light of the players we can't let some boss defeat us here! Take up Arms! Advance! { he leads the platoon into battle as he gets struck down by the boss along with a group of soldiers}

Sora: NO!...Run away you'll DIE!....{ he clenches his fist as he can't help but feel powerless at the sight of the army getting wiped out and struggling to survey the stench of death fills the area he looks behind at wolf and Azure} Run and head back to Algad!...I won't let anyone in my party die ever again and I refuse to just sit here and watch all of these players die! { he unsheaths his blade} dammit.....Dammit......{ he dashes into the boss room} DAMMIT! { he blocks the boss monsters huge blade asits about to cleave through a platoon} RAAAGH! { he barely manages to keep up his defenses as he manages to duck beneath the blade he cuts the monsters leg but the monster just turns around to look at him} dammit That was a critical but it barely did anything to this monster

Soldier:...F-Follow the Knight in red( referring to Sora) MEN! Provide COVER! our leader may have died but we still stand!...FIGHT! { the army trys to provide cover for Sora}

Sora: Dammit....just RUN!

Two arrows wizzed past Sora's head, both just barely above his ears, and lodged into the boss's kneecaps. Then suddenly, he materialized in front of sora holding onto the beast's chest hair, he didn't even look as if he was in danger. "Don't worry Kale I saw this in a video game once!" He began to climb the beast until he sat on its' head. "Glory to The Night Angel! Glory to The Red King!" And with that he plunged his dagger into the beast's eye.
