"Kinda" is the greatest understatement.
Though to be honest, he/she (i know what AT is, but i never asked what they preferred to be called, he or she...i mostly used "he") wasn't truly mean, and he didn't insult anyone just for the sake of ruining their day. It's just that AT couldn't tolerate the lack of knowledge from other members through their posts, and he never held back one bit in describing how wrong they were since the very second they were born. And, compared to AT, pretty much every member (and living mortal) was a complete ignorant that had no absolute idea what they were talking about, no matter the subject.
Erranty's description is pretty accurate too...it's like if he was trolling us, but also giving us proper information and good advice. And though many could describe him as arrogant, cold-hearted or a plain asshole, he's seriously the most intelligent and wisest person i've ever met. And he was actually very nice and fun to talk to, as long as you weren't acting like a retard around him.
And he never said where he'd go or that he was leaving at all, so you could say he "just left". However, there are many reasons as of why he left, mostly some drama involving members that felt the most offended ever as soon as AT said a word, and admins that really didn't like him and barely allowed him to be here. He's still browsing around the internet though, and just living life and stuff. A few months ago a member was able to contact him and had a little chatting, which went nicer than you could imagine (but as i said, as long as you weren't being a retard or speaking too much crap, he was very nice).

He hasn't even left anywhere...maybe just to the bathroom or the occasional shopping. His last post was a week ago, and had posted just a few days before that too. And i get to see him online every often. You can probably tell him hi and he'll say hi back to you :3

AT left because when the Admins started cleaning out posts that were duplicates, spam, or whatever their criteria, her post count was no longer "Over 9000" as she stated. Yes I understand the reference, and to be honest the forum has slowed down quite a bit so there were other probable factors in it too, that was just the one she mentioned though.

Yeah, i remember that, and he mentioned it and joked about it (and even asked for a title change...it became "IT WAS OVER 9000!" instead), but i really don't think that was his main reason to leave. Maybe it was among the reasons...but if other things hadn't happened, i believe he would've stayed (and even focus on regaining the 1000 lost posts).

Though now that i think about it, maybe i was just able to see this on a different side, being a Mod and all. The last things i remember of him involved having him being "banned" of sending/receiving PMs (after several PM reports), posts deletion/locked topics after "heated up" debates with other members (though as "normal" as you'd expect from him...i recall a "deadly combination" of AT and S1lentOp that did go pretty far though), and several reports from members...most of them new members and most of the reports being butthurt accusations rather than valid ones, but that still filled up the Mods' Control Panels and the Staff inboxes. And i don't think it was a pretty sight to log in and notice that half your posts were deleted while the other half were reported, so yeah D: That's why i believe those were the main reasons he left...as i saw first-hand what was happening around him here.

And sorry for bringing an off-topic topic even more off-topic than the original off-topic topic (i must be a great Mod...and with some Xzibit tendencies), but i think your signature is pretty awesome, Erranty. It also creeps me up. lol

Sorry, Sorrow. I hate to be arrogant but I just can't find myself to agree with you about AT at the moment. Because to be honest, in the instances I've had to go toe-to-toe with the bastard, the insults were always personal. I know, he said that he does that stuff because that's just how he is and I think the autism maybe another reason. But they were always personal. Even when I tried to politely talk to him or try to make an intelligent comment, etc. I would always get spat in my face. Yes I know there are some instances where he was actually subtle and nice, but the negative definitely outweighs the bad on this. And it doesn't just go for me either. I'm sure some of the reports were butthurts, but at the same time some of the reports were true. He would sometimes just go too far.Its called Etiquette, he just didn't have it. S1lent Op was similar to AT, but he only bashed when absolutely need. I understand that AT is smart in alot of stuff, but its unfair to get pissy at other people and talk down to them just because we apparently on the same level of 'braininess" as him. There were even a few instances where AT would start something just because I made a comment or a question and Anime Monkey would have to come and stop one-sided arguments and both times she would become very aggravated. I understand that sometimes I would f*ck up, but AT would just rip a new asshole in me almost everytime. I know I'm just going on a rant, but it just seems like out everyone on this forum, it was me that AT had the most vendetta against. Just a bully. And to be honest, I'm surprised AT didn't get banned entirely for over the years of all this.

So sorry, Sorrow. But I just can't agree with you right now about AT. I guess its just the immaturity in me, but I just can't, not yet.

The only thing I can do, is give respect for AT's knowledge on .Hack. Because for giving credit where credit is due. I wouldn't know alot of the stuff I do if it wasn't for some his mildly harmless comments.

I kinda know how you feel, though I'm a boy. I've had the displeasure of dealing with a few girls whom were my friends at first, yet for no reason at all will turn into major **** and start talking **** behind my back as well. Basically I say forget about the girl, just what Kuukai said.

Even better, become better than her. In every way possible. Because at this point, its not even worth trying to talk to her nicely because she's not gonna listen.
