He felt that his time to fight would come, but thinking about it suddenly made him feel week and pathetic. A guard had walked up to his cell an reluctantly opened the cell door. The challenger after the demigod had gotten themselves killed and he was all that was left. He was ushered out of the cell and into the arena. The light from the day was bright and it took him a few moments to get used to. One of the guards handed him a sword and reluctantly handed him a shield. It was only fair to give him one. He was not going up agenst a monster like the others. They had plotted him agents a Gladiator to try and get rid of him for good, but they weren't going to get rid of him that easily. The gladiator struck out at him but he had easily blocked the attack with his shield and dodged out of the way. His tall and slender body made him fast but also strong. Seeing an opening he quickly struck the gladiator in the shoulder. Disabling his sword arm. Than making a quick blow to the gladiators chest. The body tumbled over and lie still on the ground. He could here a few applodes and standing ovations. The rest were shocked murmurs.
