Here's a list of some nifty adventuring stuff.
http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Adventuring_Gear

There are ways of acquiring certain books involving some dungeons and sometimes dragons that may be a little to shady to post here...*cough cough* something about guys on ships that raid other peoples ships and whatnot...*cough cough*hint hint*

Not that I'm suggesting anything, naturally. 8)

Since it seems like a class similar to a summoner, I'd have him wear either a robe or some leather armor with a utility belt.

I dunno, maybe look like a gambler or something like that?
Using a "weapon" like that it could look any way you want, really '-'

You can't cast spells while on barbarian's rage. Also, you cant use most of the rogue's skills (including sneak attack) while on rage.

So yeah, rogue + sorcerer would be fine, but barbarian cant go well with those.
Unless you wanted to do some comedic roleplaying.... "Watch out guys, he's pretty dangerous when he's calm, but you REALLY don't want to piss him off. No, like really, remember what happened to Dave? (flashes back to a dead guy in a cave that's missing his legs and arms)"

I've never played a barbarian. It's a common class, but I've never been into the idea of "raging" to kill enemies.

A-K, wanna change it or keep it for roleplaying sake?
I'll quit the barbarian class, and keep only with the other two

Mine's simply, when he was a child he started practicing sorcery with his mother, while learning sneaking skills with his father, he was good at avoiding things, has trained his reflexes more than any human, and has very string magic, he was trained by his mother and father after all, he is now one of the richest guys in the city

Nice, I'll put it up!

I imagined that happening like a movie while reading it. I wouldn't mind drawing up your character if I had the materials.

Lives and loves in poverty, his father taught him all he needed in order to become warrior, but he hates violence, He learned to use a bow in order to hunt but he could never bring himself to make the kill.

Haha, I just though up my design!

Half-Orc, Bard (with Fighter abilities added) High Charisma.

And since I'm green, this is my Songblade.

Anyone who recognizes that knows the HORRIBLE direction I'm taking this.

I had to think for a long while on that one. Man, I forgot they even had weapons on that show...
Anyways, the Green Ranger was a badass, there's nothing horrible about it! He really was my favorite as a child. You know the actor is an MMA fighter now? Or he was, I haven't seen anything about him recently.

Dude summons a robotic dragon by playing a flute-knife while still wearing his helmet, then controls it the same way so he never has to pilot it from the inside and risk getting killed if it ever gets destroyed. Pretty badass.

He got whupped by the good guys the 3rd or 4th time around and joined them at some point.

To keep this from turning into a Power Rangers discussion, I'll jump to some important news-my internet is whack. Like, randomly turns off whack. Seeing as I just moved in about a month ago, I was not aware of this. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't stop posting though! Keep the classes coming!

I dunno about D&D, but in other games I've found that if you have high evasion and high parry you're basically untouchable as long as you can muster up some magic resistance.

The D&D equivalent of evasion is AC (Armor Class). It's your imaginary way of saying "my armor deflected that attack/my armor stopped the attack/my natural evasion was enough that I completely avoided the attack" and such. An armored opponent gets AC from armor, the higher quality, the higher the AC. A monk gets a natural bonus to AC as he levels up, which get pretty high, usable as long as he doesn't wear armor. You also have spell resistance and Reflex, Fortitude, and Will saves. Different situations call for different saves.

Here's a character sheet (or at least one of a few pages)-
Character Sheet

In case people are thinking it, your class isn't limited to what is listed on the main page. You can invent one and post as long as it's balanced. The balance doesn't come from D&D, it comes from you not saying, "My class is the super rape knight of awesomeness. It destroys everyone else here and I win."

It could be something like a guy that specializes in using improvised weapons, has a knack for saving babies, and always gets the girl.

In other words, I could say something like "My bard controls animals with music, causing them to swarm my enemies. He also makes 600 Gold every time he leaves a bar because he's a musician." and it'd be cool?
