Haruka was a bit annoyed at the the way that some Enma constantly had to scare new recruits. Still, it would be awhile until they were full fledged. Once she had finished passing out the booklets to each participant, she heard something she had already been prepped on. Kouichiro had received a letter of recommendation and the scientists were all ready to study him if his first ability wasn't a fluke. He certainly seemed calmer than the others. She remained there to study all the participants as they took the written test. Now at the second test, it seemed that the main event would soon begin. The senior Enma's were looking forward his performance under pressure of other potential Enma candidates.

Certainly he was free to choose anyone as a partner, but she was sure that being chosen would be his last resort. Since she had no abilities as an Enma, she would be useless for anything but information.

"Oh man, you really have your work cut out for you." Sero sits down pointing his finger at Kouichiro and starts laughing at him "I like your attitude! Not many people would crack their knuckles in front of a crowd of wannabe Enmas, let's see if you can back up that attitude with some Judgement of your own."

Kouichiro:{ he looks up at enma}.....I'll show you..just what I can do * though I have no idea what my power or judgement even is { he looks around as he notices most of the pairs were both enma} hmmm{ he sees haruka} *ah* hey { he walks over to her}...would you mind being my partner { he looks at her}.....

Enma: heh what an idiot picking some non enma as a partner this kids as good as lost theres nno way he'll pass..heh

Kouichiro: ahh don't listen to them...come on lets show them what we can do { he holds his one hand out to haruka as he places his other hand on a small black hammer hanging from his pants just in case anyone trys to attack him}

Sero grunts in disappointment "Think of what you just did! What are you going to do if she gets captured? Can you protect her? Can she protect you?" Sero watches as some Enmas surround Kouichiro "Show your strength already!"

Haruka felt a bit of surprise at the fact he was asking her of all people to be his partner. First of all, she didn't even have Enma powers, despite being born in the Mikage bloodline. Second, she was good with information, but during the test many prized the ability to have someone watch their back. What was the point of having someone who could easily be injured and not have the ability to summon a weapon?

"Perhaps you don't know that I'm unable to use any actual weapon ability?" Her hands held to the clip board in her arms. "If it is really your choice, then you must know it is a disadvantage to have anyone without actual weapon skills as your partner..." She spoke softly, making sure not to bring too much attention, considering they were getting quite a lot already.

Kouichiro: yeah I know...I can sense that your no enma...but I'd rather be partnered wth someone smart besides I've worked in the administrative department for as long as i can rerember so my life i've been surrounded by books and papers...I don't really like these guys very much...they think having an enma partner means more power....but your know....I see it as if their are two enmas as partners....it doesnt work out too well.....besides I'm allowed to partner with who I want right?....{ he turns around now} don't worry leave the fighting to me? do u think u an analyze these guys or atleast provide me with some info on them { he grabs the hammer as it glows} * huh....what the this feeling....it's incredible is this a Judgement?* { the hammer becomes the length it is in tbe pic} DARK HAMMER LILLY!!......I trust u to watch my back in any way you can...{ he looks over his shoulder as he smiles at her} come on lets show them Partner

Haruka took a deep breath, preparing for the worst at first. She'd have to speak fast and make sure that he knew what people to attack first. If he didn't, it would be hard to fight souls in any way. She quickly looked towards the worst threats, distance.

The first Enma had what seemed to be two long samurai swords. His partner seemed to own what looked to be a shot gun. "The group in front of us has distance covered. The swords keep one away while the other can cover him if he needs to retreat in any way." She spoke, relaxing her hands from the clip board. Her eyes turned, going to another pair.

"The pair to our right have a small ax and a scythe. Distance can be covered, but the ax needs to be close to do any damage." She quickly turned to the others, repeating what she saw as immediate threats and basic strategies that their opponents can pull off.

kouichiro: {the first pair seem to rush at Kouichiro as the samurai swords heads for Haruka but Kouichiro catches the swords with bottom of the hammer as he brings down the top of the hammer on the enma weilding the blades smashing him into the ground as the shotgun bullets come flying towards them} Grow { his hammer enlarges making a cover for the 2 of them} phew allright...Hey ya see were not that bad of a team...with the 2 of us your knowledge and my power we can't possibly lose...* so this is my power...my judgement...and she's my partner...this is what it's like to be an enma*....Extend! { the pole extends upward as kouichiro is holding onto it as he drops down as he kicks the 2nd enma in the face and he grabs the hammer as it returns to normal size and he clashes with the 2nd pair having a a little difficulty though he jumps back towards haruka}....you okay? { he readies his hammer as he sees the 3rd pair closing in on them}...Tch

Haruka nodded, looking at the third pair. "They have twin short swords and a lance. They'll attempt to use the lance to distract you." She began to feel a little dizzy, ignoring the feeling for now. She had to focus on helping her partner. "The fourth pair is able to attack with projectile weaponry like throwing knives and shuriken." Her hands relaxed more, catching onto each weapon being held by each Enma candidate.

Kouichiro: Got it...{ he sees the lance} Not gonna work! { extend the hammer extends smashing the enma in the gut sending them knocking into each other and flying back as the hammer returns to it's original size and he then then starts clearing the way... he leapsforward as he starts fighting with the enma on equal terms} GROW GROW GROW!!! { the hammer becomes massive as he jumps and brings it down hard causng dust to kick up as the distance enma are disoriented he sneaks up behind them and knocks them out and then finally theirs a few pairs left he loks at haruka noticing her tiredness}...hey why don't you take this one easy...your pretty impressive...allright then you take a break no need to over work yourself

"Relax."

It was her voice, seeming to call out to her. The feeling settled, focusing on what candidates remained. The dizzy feeling grew, but not enough to where she would begin to fall. "The next pair focuses on surprise attacks, one has spiked gloves and the other has short swords." Her naturally she moved to the next one. "The last pair have scythes, the hardest of the lot."

Kouichiro: { he looks at Haruka}....hey come here { he helps her as he sits her down easily} now now time to relax... I'll handle this.... { he looks at the last pairs his eyes serious he's tightly gripping onto the hammer}...* allright its time to stop playing around*....lets go! { he readies his hammer}


ENma 1: oh the kids not half bad

enma2: I guess the Rumors were right...that kid has the potential to become an A-class Enma.....

old man: well lets see how he'll handle this....

Kouichiro: { he runs at the remaining pairs}

The feeling left suddenly, leaving her a little out of it for a moment. She took a few moments to focus. What had happened? She had been so focused on the battle that she had began to forget this was a test. She shook her head lightly to get the feeling out of her. She pulled a pen from her pocket, beginning to write down what she needed to report to the senior level Enma. She kept an eye on Kouichiro, though her pen moved fast to get what she could get recorded.

"he has abilitys...... Hey" he talked to an enma "if he wins this, put him on my team" he turned again to kouichiro, seeing how he fights with ease

Kouichiro: { he gets caught by surprise by the one pair as they hammer away at him with attacks}..grrrr{ he kicks the spike glove user in the gut as hebrings his hammer down on his head and he uses the hammer to poll vault himself into the 2nd enma}...allright then come one { he starts clashing with both of the scythe weilding enma}

enma 1: heh you should just give up with a pathethic partner like her face it one without powers is just a hazard on the battlefield

Kouichiro: SHUT UP! { he knocks the one back as he starts taking alot of attacs from the twin scythe enma pair} bite your tongue...I wont let you speak ill of my partner..... now youve got me mad! { one side of the hammer glows red as he dashes at the first scythe weilder and the judgement symbol for hell glows on one the right side of the hammers head} HHAHAAAAAAHHHH JUDGEMENT! HELLFIRE!!! { he brings his hammer down hard as flames explode outward}

enma 1: GAH! { passes out}

Kouichiro: * hmmm whats this feeling i'm getting filled with all of this power* { the judgement symbol for hamer glows blue on the left side of the hammers head} JUDGEMENT! GODS WRATH! { brings his hammer down hard on the 2nd enma as thunder strikes and explodes everywhere as the smoke clears Kouichiro alone is left standing} * breathing heavily* { he looks towards haruka} Hey!!! { he runs over to her} WE did IT!....ohhh thats right...you know my name but I don't know yours whats your name miss?

Old man: * that ability...Double tap the Judgement power of both heaven and hell*

ENma1: HEy the kids not half bad!

Sero cheered and jumped in the air "Exceptional! Truly exceptional! I am very proud of you, very proud!" Sero continued cheering from the sidelines

Izanagi closed his eyes and smiled, then said to an enma standing next to him "He passed" he said softly and then continued saying "Put him in my team, And his partner too... tell the old man and the other enmas, and tell him to come to the entrance hall if he accepts" he walked to the entrance

Adachi still was seeing blankly to the nothing, he stood up and walked and passed the grand hall the enmas were doing their exam and kept walking

"...We?" Haruka looked confused at the moment, unsure of how she had helped in any way. She still felt a little tired, but that was from feeling dizzy earlier. She had been focusing on writing down the Enma abilities and such for the senior Enmas. Certainly telling him information and strategies helped, but not in a situation where they can't talk. She could easily have been attacked while talking about each pairing. She adjusted the glasses on her face, putting the clip board down. "Haruka Mikage, assistant researcher to the Enma department." Her hands slowly went back to the clip board, uncertain of what to say.

Kouichiro: allright then { he streches} ahh that was a good warm up....but uhh...Haruka-san?....What do I do now exactly...now that its over...can I go home?

"You passed, so the senior Enma have to brief you on a team or what teams are willing to accept you." Haruka spoke, rather relaxed now that the test was over. "You talk to the person who is leading the test to find out." She bowed her head lightly. "I need to get back to my regular duties. Good luck Kouichiro-san." She walked out of the hall to get to the research offices.
