Rise a Knight-Mission in Progress

Sirius took another puff of his cigarette, then looked at Lance,"You spotted it? I managed to conceal it pretty well from everyone else... You have pretty good eyes, kid." He tapped the side of his head,"If you want to talk about the 'mission', I recommend we do it somewhere else. Maybe a little less..." His eyes darted around the room at the numerous people seated therein,"...crowded". He turned to face the barman, then David, and finally shifted his attention back to Lance. He then oused his cigarette in a nearby ashtray, mumbled something under his breath, and stood up,"I'd rather not cause an uproar just yet." He looked at the bartender,"While I can't do anything that might cause us to grab an unwanted amount of attention, I'll be... fine... with taking these guys off your hands." He looked back at David,"'Sides, I have a few questions I want to ask those two.." He gestured to Lance and David, then turned back to the bartender,"You can hold on to the whiskey."

He turned back to Lance,"Could you drag your 'friend' away from his pool table?I'd like to talk with him as well." He tapped his head again, and the glasses lenses rematerialised over his eyes. He turned to face the front entrance of the bar, then muttered to Lance,"Meet me in the alley behind the next building over. We'll talk there."
Upon finishing his sentence, Sirius left through the bar's front door.

Lanced nodded, acknowledging Sirius's request. He carefully walked over to David, and watched David play a round. He calmly waited for David to finished before tapping his shoulder, "David, we're done here, we've got to go now." Lance took the billiard stick from David's hand and tossed it on the game table. Once the pair had walked away from the billiards table "How much money did you make anyway?" Lance scanned the bar one last time before leaving.

"K-123, I am K-282 and this is K-267." Lance said introducing David and himself, "I have gloves in my bags, if you want to cover your hands, they were how I noticed that you were one of us; also, you looked suspicious in that overcoat although I guess I can't pick out what you choose to wear on a mission. Speaking of which, I think I should get out of this pilot's uniform."

Nobody accepted the wager. In fact they all eyed the sword lodged in the ground, apologized saying they had to go do something or another and left in a hurry.

About ten seconds after you enter the alley a pair of space port security guards rush past the entrance, they're most likely headed for the bar. Their expressions are grim. They flick out short black sticks which extend into batons as they pass by. You also note taser guns on their belts.
(Note: Y'all are still in the space port proper. You still need to figure out a way past security. Think of it as airport security if you want to describe how you're getting past it. Sirius won't have much trouble, he's been on planet for going on two years now, they know and trust him enough by now to skip straight to the wand scan, ignoring the places that have always lit up, like the arms. But Lance and David will need to figure something out, that's assuming they want to keep their guns and sword.)

Sirius politely declined the offer of the gloves, stating that while it was a good-hearted gesture, His hands were crafted to look like gloves-as long as he concealed himself well, he wouldn't have any issues regarding them. He also pointed out that the gloves wouldn't serve much use in case he needed to use one of his arm's many multifunctions-he would probably forget he was wearing them, and thence damage them in such a way that would cause them to attract more attention than they avoided.

As he entered the alleyway, he opened his mouth to say something, but was quickly interrupted by the sound of heavy footsteps. Recognising them instantly, he changed his train of thought to suit the situation. He pulled Lance and David in close to where he was standing, then muttered under his breath,"I can pretty much tell that you haven't been roped in by the security around here." He tapped his head again, and his glasses glowed a dim orange, following which a strip of thin light quickly shot down the lenses. He sighed to himself,"I can get you two up to the wand scan without difficulty, but I don't have access to the concealment mods required to hide your weaponry, seeing as my system is an inherently older model..." He looked over his shoulder at the guards,"If you want to, you can think of this as a test of the skills you've mustered thus far. If you get past security, you pass. I'm sure you can guess what happens if you don't pass."

((GK, Im going to have a propulsion sistem in my sword's handle, now that both of them has something in their bodies and im only a guy with a sword, and it's a claymore after all, i can get in it as if the sword were a Flying-Skateboard))
Once the pair had walked away from the billiards table "How much money did you make anyway?" Ummmm, like.... Ummmm lemme see" he was counting some money that he got on his pocket "Ummm, only 850$ when i started, but then the others were gone and only one was left, and i was at the point of winning and u called me...." then when they were in the alleyway "If you want to, you can think of this as a test of the skills you've mustered thus far. If you get past security, you pass. I'm sure you can guess what happens if you don't pass." "Ummm, we get killed? im joking" He then grabbed his sword and put it in his back, as if it were normal "I got to hide this somewhere..... Or disguise it.... u have any ideas?"

((You want your sword to function like the hover board in Back to the Future? That's fairly complex tech to put into a sword that gets swung around hitting things extremely hard. Generally that would break complex tech. So I won't allow it. Plus, I can't think of how that would help you hide your sword.

They both have things in their bodies because that's what their injuries were and the military decided to give them upgrades. You also have upgrades, it's just not as obvious. If it came down to it, your legs are probably stronger than either of them. You can jump higher, run faster, kick harder, etc. And if they get hit they won't be as damaged as the others would be.))

((How advanced is a normal people's prosthetic? And my upgrade isn't so super duper. Also, is it cool it I have little codes for the blade? Or can I will it to come out? Also, I'll take that little hiding option thing you gave me earlier.))

Lance lifted his arm and lowered his sleeve; he removed the gun from where he had concealed it and, after pressing a few buttons hidden on his shoulder revealed a small opening in his gun. "How do your arms get past wand scan?" His removed the silencer from the pistol and hid it in the opening. "My arm is my problem, but if you can somehow hold our guns, the only huge problem is the sword." He turned to David, "Speaking of which, do you really need that sword? We can leave it on the ship. My co-pilot will keep it hidden." Lance put the safety on his pistol and turned back to Sirius, hoping for a clear answer.

Sirius looked at Lance,"The guns will be difficult for me to deal with as a whole, but if I dismantle them..." he rapidly proceeded to take the weapons apart, then exposed his arms. They were a jet black color, with the occasional glowing red, circular shaped light fading in and out on odd spots seemingly dotted in a completely random order. They literally thrived in themselves, giving off numerous whirs and clicks-though mostly barely audible-as he moved them around. Upon placing the gun parts near his arms, the arms began to shift their forms, dismantling themselves, and then reshaping, taking the guns' parts into the gaps between the arms' mechanisms. Once the shift was completed, Sirius' arms seemingly returned to a perfectly normal state. He flexed his arms to make sure that the guns were completely integrated, then faced Lance again,"I'm out of free space now... so I can't do much concerning the sword..." Something then caught the corner of his eye. He faced towards David,"You there. I want you to give me your sword for a second..."

The arms are fine given your relationship with the good doctor. And actually, y'all still have time. It's going to take more than two seconds for them to ask the barkeep what happened. And nobody in the bar knows where you went after you left anyways. Although, if they're keen enough to start checking the cameras when they discover you've left the bar then you might find yourselves being found, but there aren't any cameras in the alley. At least not any that y'all have noticed.

"Wha-?, M-my sword? ummm, sure, as long as you don't make it anything wrong it's ok..." Sirius reached out and grasped the sword,"It's a little heavy but I think you'll have no problem with it." Sirius looked at David with a puzzled expression,"Heavy? I don't really experience 'weight' in the same way that you do, kid." He lifted up the sword as if it were as light as a feather, then walked over to what had caught his eye-a container of sorts-placed the sword inside it, then shut it. He then injected his finger into a nearby socket, morphing it's tip into a sort of wire-jack, waited a few seconds, removed his finger from the socket and pushed a button on the container's 'roof'. The container then shrunk into the wall behind it, before jetting up a set of built in rails on the side of the alleyway, up onto a mesh above the group's head. Sirius then turned to face David,"It might take a while to explain what I just did, let's just say we'll get you your weapon back after we've sorted out the problem with the security guards..."

"uh......... First i can't come with my cat and now this........" he then walked to sirius "You better get my sword back when we solve the 'Problem with the guards' thing or you'll see, Well, what do we do now?"

Sirius looked at David,"Don't worry. With my knowledge of this city, I can pretty much guarantee that you'll get your sword back almost as soon as we're done here." He stretched his arms out, checking for any scratches on the metal before rolling the sleeves on his overcoat back down over them,"As for what we do now, it's simple; we get past security without any trouble whatsoever." He pulled out a cigarette packet from his right trouser pocket, selecting another smoke using his teeth. He then replaced the packet, and proceeded to light it, before placing his hands back in his pockets.

The two security guards exit the bar and start heading away from the alley y'all are in. However, you hear one of their golf carts stop nearby and a couple more of them get out. A younger guard, Sirius does not know him, looks around the corner of the alley. He looks each of you over before coming into full view and waving. "Good day, have you gents seen anyone with a sword running around here? We got word of somebody walking around with one in the pilot's bar not five minutes ago." He pulls out a notepad and looks down at it. "Witnesses put him as a white male in his early 20s late teens with short black hair, dark shirt and pants, and a white vest...kind of like...yours. Drat." His face goes pale and he starts fumbling for his baton, stun gun, and radio as if he can't decide which he needs as he backpedals out of the alley.

Sirius looked at David with a disappointed expression, murmuring in a barely audible voice,"You really don't get stealth, do you? This is the only time I'm bailing you out. After now, I'll expect you to deal with situations like this in a better way, kid. Namely, learn about disguising yourself, or at least trying to stand out much less than you currently do." He grabbed his overcoat, pulled it tightly over his shoulders, then called out to the young security guard,"My 'assosciate' here, as you can plainly see, is carrying no such weapon on his persons. How can you be sure that someone else using a sword wasn't just imitating his appearance?" He whispered to David,"Do not act like the person you were in the bar. Adopt a different personality, otherwise this strategy won't work."

The young man finaly pulls out the baton. "He-I." He looks Sirius up and down and shrinks down a little. "I-I guess he could have." "But we have to take him in anyways." Came a deeper voice preambling an older guard stepping around the corner. "He's a suspect, weapon or not. Sirius." The older guard, Alexander, has never taken a shine to Sirius unlike most of the other guards. And he's one of the few that carries an actual gun, which his right hand was probably resting on behind his back. "And as his associates I'll need to take you two in as well." Alexander's eyes scan the group and rest on Lance's Uni emblem. "We might have some trouble on our hands. Call for back up." He barks as he turns his head to the apparent rookie. He nods and begins fumbling with his things again.

It's interesting. But I don't remember specifically approving active camo. I realize that, Adam is it?, has it in the trailers for Deus Ex, but you just have the arms and the shades. No active camouflage. Uni has suits specially designed for that, but they're full on suits that you have to be wearing and for various reasons the Leviathan didn't have any on hand when y'all were deployed. Therefore you can't do that. Remember nobodyknows, you don't have to solve every situation yourself, y'all are a squad. Where one person falls short at least one of the others should be able to pick up the slack.
