I would really appreciate it if all you Xbox lovers would just surrender so that you can all go down with honor and choke on leaves, the Xbox is dead and halo reach proves it, I agree with anyone who likes killzone and resistance, so to all the Halo lovers:

I'm not too excited about Black Ops. It seems like it's been dummied down from MW2 in many areas. Medal of Honor hitting the modern times seems like it's gonna be an excellent element for the series. Halo Reach is basically the same as other Halos. No joke. Nearly EVERYTHING is the same.
As far as I'm concerned, this war between FPS's isn't really a great one.

How is Black Ops in any way a dumbed down version of Modern Warfare 2?_Tri-edge_ wrote:I'm not too excited about Black Ops. It seems like it's been dummied down from MW2 in many areas.

-The graphics for one, don't look as advanced and sharp than MW2. In fact, they look a bit cartoonish and plain.
-Gameplay mechanics seemed to have gone down overall. Not by much, but little has been added.
-From the multiplayer perspective, it's fairly similar in nearly every aspect of MW2. The only major differences are the cameras, gameplay modes, flamethrower attatchments, and the ability to scan the entire area by camera.

its probably cause the game is set in nam, the terrible graphics reflect the laziness of the guys involved most likely._Tri-edge_ wrote:-The graphics for one, don't look as advanced and sharp than MW2. In fact, they look a bit cartoonish and plain.

Blacks Ops is coming out next month for the PS3, Xbox, and Wii, but I shall pick Goldeneye 007 to be my fps provided it gets good reviews (I think it will). If Goldeneye fails I'm getting KH BBS. It seems Goldeneye is going to have the classic feeling. From what I seen you can make things go old school with the Chop attack(the chop back in the day is ftw), and classic health bars with body armor. The weapons are the same, but many are getting renamed.

Re: First person shooter war, and the fanboys
I've not played it, but I can tell that the single player stuck true to the N64 version. The split screen seems to be fun, but sadly things are Call Of Duty like. The cheats seem to be fun, but no pick ups or options for non regaining health. Online is petty much like CoD with lvling up for perks, and weapons.
I might as well buy Black Ops for that. I will likely just get BBS, Sonic Colors, and I might consider Black Ops if they fixed the crap from MW2.

My only commentary on the subject?
They're remaking GoldenEye for the Wii.
That pretty much ends all my "console debate" issues. Come on, GoldenEye for the Wii. What do you mean it's not awesome?

Hey I played that on the N64 as well! I loved using the laser's! Although I do hope the remake will be good cause if not then the gameplay should be better then.
Re: First person shooter war, and the fanboys
If you play Goldeneye Wii on the highest difficult then it has that good old school feeling. When you play it on lowers levels then you get it somewhat. The multiplayer is Call of Duty like. You basically choose some cheats, rules and play. You choose a character, and that character has a load out of weapons, and a perk you can't changed. You can't pick up weapons like in the old days, and melee attack (unless in melee only mode) kills with one hit.
Online is CoD style. You level up to get your guns, add on to guns, and perks. The guns kill so fast that picking up the Golden Gun doesn't make you much of a threat.
If it wasn't for the legal issues then we could have got a true remake of Goldeneye Wii. Goldeneye Wii isn't a bad game, but they over did it with the marketing. It isn't not like the original much.
