Turn based systems shall be forever, much like the basic concept of gaming itself, it shall never be outdated, only improved upon.

My biggest pet peeve has to be anime cliches in RPGs. It'll seriously stop me from looking at the game at all.

Games that objectify women, one example is when my other stepbrother installed a game on my laptop and I thought it was a role playing game with a blond bishie, until I played it then I saw things I shouldnt have:
1.The blond bishie is a girl named arturia(I thought she was a guy).
2.most of the actions are through dialogue.
3.weird story.
4.And finally last but most shocking.....

I agree with Erranty here. What you've just said has pretty much singled you out as one of the most fun playthings that this board has to offer.

Back on topic; Who hates the invincible mooks that sometimes appear in games? I know I do =D!

Um....Wow. You guys seriously had some run in's with bad influences in the past.

Anyway, I really hate how in some video games, the text is so damn small. Just recently, I played the Vanquish demo, and I could barely see how much ammunition I had left in my weapons. That was extremely important due to the fact that I wasted so many bullets on that last part of the battle. I'm trying to speed through it in record time so don't judge me.

Try adjusting the brightness before playing the demo, because it is quite "flashy" if you know what I mean. I don't think the text is "small" but that the HUD on the right side is just so colorfully bright that it's a bit difficult to see the small numbers and weapon icons.

That's why it's a demo! They can fix it when the final version is released

Are you playing on a standard definition TV? Because really, HD consoles have been out for a while now. They don't have to keep making text HUGE for the sake of vintage TVs anymore. That's like asking them to only use color schemes that look good in black and white, for the sake of people who still own black and white TVs and really want to use them with color gaming consoles. It limits what they can do...

I don't like games that are made to have story lines and the story lines are horrible.

What a coincidence! I too hate it when games don't do what they're supposed to. On a related note, I hate it when a game that's supposed to be fun ends up not being fun at all.

I just hate horrible dialogue in general. I can handle a few cheesy lines here and there but if there is an entire cutscene that I can't even laugh off or make fun of in a snarky fashion because I'm just so disgusted by what's coming out of the characters' mouths I will be genuinely angry.

Ah you guys havent realized I'm one year close to the legal age in my country? And futhermore the reason why I know about these things is because my father abused me in many ways when I used to live with him, everynight he would come into my room and do "things" to me, I would've preferred to killed by him than endure that everynight, its because of a kind soul who was my own guardian angel that I moved in with the most popular and kind boy in our school, my stepbrother james who is now dead, even though I loved him I could never tell him that as a sister, so thats why people like you ought to burn in hell.
