...Jokes aside, I was gonna say Haseo, but then I remembered that I'm on dothackers and most people here probably already know of his epic brokenness.

Well, in that case, I may as well list a few of my favorites... (pre-emptive spoiler alert, can't be bothered to put everything in tags *is lazy*)

-The titans from Age of Mythology's expansion. Actually, just two of them (namely, Cerberus and whatever Egypt gets). And Gaia if you count the story mode. (Out of the ones I like, of course.) They're so absurdly broken that it's next to impossible to kill them. Good luck trying. (Gaia is literally impossible to kill. She doesn't appear in normal play, though.)

-Fujiwara no Mokou. Touhou 8. I don't think I really need to say much about her. She's overpowered and freaking awesome (so overpowered that she actually got scrapped as a playable in another game because they didn't have time to balance her moveset, along with Kaguya from the same game).

-And speaking of overpowered Touhou characters, Shikieiki. (Although that's more just crazy awesome and possibly not really overpowered. She is a pretty damn tough final boss in her game, though. Not sure about when you're playing as her...)

-And as for a seriously freaking overpowered and seriously freaking awesome character... Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War has a lot of them in the second generation, but in my opinion, the most notable is Shanan, who is not only a really sexy prettyboy a swordmaster (one of the most overpowered classes in the game), but also gets exclusive use of a legendary weapon that gives massive boosts to Speed and Skill. Watch him tear down everything. (Except those dark mages. They can actually give him a run for his money when he first joins... but after that...) Could make a case for Lakche and Yuria with her special tome (can make the normally absurdly hard final boss die in one hit), but as I said, gen 2 is full of broken characters, especially if you paired their parents right.

(And I can't believe I forgot Sety. He can easily get so strong that enemies won't attack him.)

-Later Fire Emblem games have a few absurdly broken characters too. The sibling lords in The Sacred Stones, Ike in Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn... and then comes Shadow Dragon and Catria. In a game loaded with units that have terrible growth rates, she shines like hell.

-Tales of Graces' Hubert. In the original Wii version, at least, he has a setup that can instantly kill the strongest monster in the game, making powerleveling a cinch. Note that this is kind of a halfhearted note since I haven't actually played that game, but if all Tales games had something like that, they'd probably be a lot more fun (in my eyes).

-And while we're on the subject of Tales, Destiny 2's Harold Belserius. She (yes, she) has an undodgeable overpowered skill... or two, or three, or five. Counting the extensions for the second one, of course. And Crazy Comet is painfully broken. Of course, considering that this game is full of enemies that can use equally broken skills on you (Magnadeus, I'm looking at you), maybe it's a good thing...

waitwaitwait, I thought we were talking about overpowered playable characters '-'

I mean, if we're gonna talk about bonus bosses, I got a whole F'ing list of these =/

Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition: Virgil, god mode's practically built in once you have Beowulf.
.....Are you serious....?

I kicked Vergil's ass everytime in DMC3:SE, even in Dante Must Die mode.

He's most likely referring to USING Virgil in DMC3:SE, rather than fighting against it.

And yeah, i also thought we were talking about overpowered playable characters too...and we were until the mentions of Jinpachi and Ruby Weapon i guess XDD And yeah, there's HUNDREDS of overpowered boss characters...i guess that simply mentioning SMT bosses and SNK bosses we already have a list of overpowered bosses of the size of my walls of text >->; lol

Not "most likely". He SURELY is talking about using Vergil >_>

And I didn't like using Vergil. Dante is much more badass and more fun to play than him IMO u_u

Probably even bigger xD
I mean, c'mon the 2 Digital Devil Saga games alone have almost 20 bonus bosses, and none of them is particularly easy >_>

Dante from Dante's Inferno, (Although I should note. He is basically Kratos from God of War, as both games were extremely similar. The only difference were the weapons used, and the magic.) All in all, he's still up there as an overpowered character.

I'm going to go ahead and add Grant (Garou: Mark of the Wolves) to this.

...even with monsieur Howard, I could not beat him without dying...many times.

In Runescape when your character gets strong enough you can petty much own with these weapons. Godswords, Chaotic weapons, and some of the weapons from pvp drops are way overpowered. Talk about 1, or 2 hits kills.

.hack any wavemaster. The second closest are any twinblades. They have the next best magic att. Magic in the first .hacks games are very powerful to have, and a twinblade can use Meow if they get full cat gear, or they can just use lvl 3 summon spells.

The Summon skills in all 4 levels were over-powered in themselves.

I'm going to say Henry from no more heroes, most of his attacks are overpowered and his instant kill move is just to awsome to dodge.
