Fine let's add some little and recent emotional events >3>
Playing Dissidia on my friends' PSP. I shed more than one tear but everyone was just talking lulz about some teacher as i was facing down on the PSP spamming Comet with Onion Knight, because i didn't know what else to do. Soon after though, i finished Cloud's story...and haven't played since.
Playing Mario Kart Wii, DBZ Budokai Wii, and Mortal Kombat Armaggedon Wii , for a console i'm sure you'll never guess (>3>). Been only more than a week, but we've had experiences worth almost like a month of playing or more. We've even played online and finished Adventure/Story modes....that might decrease soon though, because we're seriously getting homework that just can't be finished in 20 minutes or just in our free time at home after we've played for hours straight.

I love when I defeated Chaos with a lvl 52 Tina/Terra. I'm work on fighting the lvl 110 Chaos. Once in SSBB online I done a triple spike with ROB. It was epic, and awkward. I spike one person that spiked into the other 2 players. I saved that replay, and will always remember it.

I've had a lot in .hack//G.U., but I think my overall favorite from any game was... well, kicking Deghinsea's ass with Ilyana in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. I also loved pretty much all of Tales of Destiny 2.

A particular I remember in .hack GU was when I was fighting Sakaki in Vol. 2, he killed targeted and killed off my party one by one, leaving me last, almost torturing me as if, then it was just me and him. He had some paralyzing crap, but my broadsword sealed and my armour nulled any damage 50 or less (which is surpisingly amazing :O), the fight between us dragged on for abotu 20 minutes, it started after atoli died, I only had 500 hp and he had 1200. I continuously attacked, regekiing when I could, but eventually ran out of sp healers, and his paralyzing was overwhelming, I was left with 10 hp, and was knockbacked, I switch to my ticking death and we charged at eachother, his attacks nulled while I was doing some scythe slashes, I gained enough sp for only one gale blade, so I keept running and running, did the charge attack, and ran until my bar refilled, when I then used gale blade to pwn him.
Somthing familiar to that happened whilsit I fought Bordeux in vol. 2, again, my party got ROFLPWNT and then she went for me, I panicked and did a rengeki break while my demon awakening was running out, I was only at 100 hp left, and the little cutscene happened where Endrance saves your ass and then you exterminate her AIDA.

I'd have to say one of my favorites and probably the first was when Lavitz Dies in Legend of Dragoon. I mean, I hated but loved it at the same time.
Beating Shinobi for the PS2 on very hard mode was a memorable accomplishment for me.
As well as getting ranked #9 on Way of the Firefly in Ragdoll Kung Fu. I've always been good at the games I've played but as far as I know this is the first time I've ever gotten a single digit ranking in something ranked worldwide.
And to throw a .hack one in there, I got chills at the first glimpse of Cubia at the end of Infection.

In Tekken 6 I learn to do a death combo on beginners, or causal players. Using Devil Jin on a stage with walls, and if I'm rage mode the combo is devastating. It is Devil Jins 10 hit combo that ends with a dragon uppercut. Then with the wall hit doing another one, but follow it up with heaven door. I did that, and its so cool, devastating.

FF 7 - Beating Ruby WEAPON by only executing one attack. (Not a cheat, just a very very clever strategy.)
FF 7 - Beating Emerald WEAPON (Had to actually work for that one. Haha.)
Arc the Lad II - Beating the grueling final boss. (This was when 1000HP was a lot...He had 9999.)
FF X - Watching Yuna inflict 30,000+ damage with her physical attack.
FF XI - Not buying it. (

)
Harvest Moon BtN - Marrying Karen.
.hack XXXX - Mistral.

KoTR with Counter and Mime? Or the same thing but with a 7777 Limit Break? (Though with that one, you don't even execute anything yourself)

It was actually :
HP Absorb + KoTR (Or Master Summon)
MP Absorb + KoTR (Or Master Summon)
Counter + KoTR.
All materia needed to be mastered for the full effect, but essentially, everytime you use strong magic against Ruby he counters with Ultima. Then of course your character counters with KoTR, which is absorbing HP and MP for you now, and you come out of the summon fully healed. Then he counters with Ultima and the cycle continues until Ruby's gone.
The tricky part was not letting the character set up for this strategy get swallowed in the Whirlsand, haha.
Kind of the long way around it but...Worked for me.
(I only put 2 materia on 2/3 characters for Emerald and when he used Aire Tam Storm and it would drop those two characters to 7777, which, well we all know what that does, and you had one good shot in the middle for the third character to heal or use an item.)

Watching Dart transform into a Dragoon for the first time during his fight with Kongol in "The Legend of Dragoon" for Playstation. This moment made me fall in love with RPGs.

Why does everyone dislike FFXI so much?
Because it's JUST another MMO with minimal plot, poorly developed characters (in the way of NPCs that just give you quests, since actual players... you know, speaking of actually interacting with other players effectively destroys any story that IS in the game and expansions), and you waste hours upon hours of you life for nothing.
Go right ahead waste eleven hours of your life to gather up enough money and materials FOR A HAT OR MAYBE SOME PRETTY BOOTS, if that somehow makes you feel accomplished then good for you, but I for one, playing an RPG whether online or not expect a reward in the form of plot development for investing my time and money into a game, and when you're playing ANY Final Fantasy odds are you came for a phenomenal and engaging plot that QUICKLY grasps your attention. Here if you want anything resembling a good story you need to waste your life away and LOOK for the story for hours on end going through some of the boring most mundane settings around fighting dull enemies with what I find to be a horrid battle system at that. This, this is why I at least hate FF XI.
Now to stay remotely on topic: Going through Killer 7.

YOU"RE a poorly developed character!!!!!! No, but seriously, you're right....i guess.... But, isn't that the point of an MMORPG? To waste hours of your life? I mean, look at all the people that play WoW, you can't honestly say that that game is significantly better than FFXI, yet millions more follow it. When it comes to MMOs, i don't think that people care about story, its the idea that they can fight monsters with their friends that gets people to play the game.

True... actually no, the purpose of ANY game should be TO BE FUN, not POINTLESSLY waste time and effort WITHOUT reward, and by reward of course I don't mean cupcakes or money or the game telling you how much of a cute little girl you are, what I mean is FUN or a sense of fulfillment (such as going through a story you like). Unless of course you're playing a bad game and not expecting to have fun... and if so I guess we're admitting that MMO's are bad games by this logic with all the pointless hours wasted without reward... YEAH! <3 (Note this is from what MY perspective of fun is, you can very well find a game without end, slaughtering beasts and talking to people fun FOREVER, I don't.)
Now before the next statement I'm well aware I've little right to say this, but when you think Final Fantasy, you're not thinking about what constitutes the usual MMO, you're thinking about what constitutes the usual RPG, plot, now it succeeds in something minimal on the level of FF 1, but it almost literally sucks your life away if you care about the plot.
I have a dislike of MMOs and made an exception for FF XI years back thinking "maybe they'll follow a different formula" or "maybe it'll be like PSO, the plot is pretty much optional, but it's there and more than interesting enough I suppose and you can get through it without wasting 200 hours grinding." it fell more toward the latter... with a horrible battle system in my opinion, as well as the plot being sparse between your time collecting money for your bloody HIGH HEELED SHOES.
I for one care about plot in most if not everything (I will **** to you about **** in Soul Calibur, a ***** FIGHTING GAME, you don't even KNOW) and I care little for dealing with friends, though not exactly an MMO, PSO was a success in my eyes both online and OFFLINE, allowing me to play the game and level my character without having to deal with a bunch of cunts online (PSU fails at this and the atmosphere sucks as does everything else), capable of getting a story across (though you still need to look), and had a half entertaining battle system.
To summarize: I don't like... any MMO really, PSO was the closest I'll get to liking one, and so for me, none of them get away with ****, being what they are, grinding games. Unless they have a redeeming factor, such as a plot, something you expect from any FF after the first one, this is why I see FF XI as a failure like every other MMO.
