Personally, I liked the second episode way better than the first. This episode was true to the manga, right down to how big "The Truths'' mouth was. I now have really high hopes for this show. I haven't looked forward to Sunday's since Code Geass.

Excuse me, my brain just broke. Need to go fix.

(And please, feel free to tell me if I misinterpreted what you meant.)

I liked the second episode so very much :3 Mainly introductory again, yes, but very helpful for those who are just beginning to watch the series and don't know much about the old one and/or the manga. Like me, as it kinda confused me because of the differences involving past events in the old anime and this one (i never read the manga), but i should just stop trying to find comparison and take it all as a whole new series, since that's what it is, after all XD

Eh kinda. I'm just saying I'd rather watch it ok dubbed and maybe it isn't legal but it's not one of those really small websites it's a well known one. Sure maybe I'll watch it in Funi and maybe I'll be persuaded to watch it there

I just didn't like it because to me, it was like watching a re-run of the old FMA with some tweaks

Surprised no one has commented on episode 3 yet.

It was a good episode. Very faithful adaptation of the first chapter of the manga. I especially loved it when Ed turned his arm into a scythe. It was only altered in the slightest thou towards the end when Father Cornello when all Hulk-ish.

Looking forward to see to re-meeting the Sowing Life Alechemist and Scar again ^_^.

Episode 5 made me giggle. Roys face when he made the *poof* and Riza's subsequent tripping was priceless.

Man,I just watched episode 9, and I noticed how much effort they put into adapting thsi from the manga. The scene where Al breaks the mirror, Hughes making the comment on Winry, and even who Izumi and her husband walk right past her at the train station (they were at the gift shop in the manga).

And next episode is gonnna make me sad again.

I hate what they did to Hughes. They made his death weak. Like they tried to hard to jerk tears out by giving him some last words that totally ruined it. And the Seiryu didn't sound like he was in pain, but more like he was constipated.

New OP/ED, i like the Ending but i preferred the other Opening far more than this one. And since episode 14 it has taken a completely different turn from the past anime, i suppose completely following the manga now. So far i'm liking it and i'm eager to see what's next to come :3

I think I prefered the older anime series. It looked less cartoony and seemed a lot more serious. Hawkeyes eyes are MASSIVE in this anime.
