Yeah, they do look alot alike.
I don't mind, most characters resemble each other so much that you get used to it. Their looks may be the similar,but the characters vary alot in personality wise.

My theory is that he's a copy of Ed from Cowboy Bebop and Tai from Digimon put together^^

Wow, yeah, if you ask me he looks much more like Ed than Tai. Their faces are a lot closer, down to the eyes and cheeks. Tokio is Ed with a nose...

Well, that's the opposite of what I was saying. Aside from his hair size and goggles, Tai has little in common design-wise with the other two. On the other hand, Ed and Tokio happen to have the same hair and eye color, very similar eye style, and random color on their cheeks... Tokio is pretty much Ed with teeth and a nose...

Actually, the first time I saw Haseo, I thought he was from Witchblade with that wicked Third Form. Tokio seems out of the .hack// universe since he doesn't have any wave symbols on his face or body, just bandage looking things. Yeah Tokio looks way too modern for a .hack game. When I first saw him as being the main character, I thought maybe LINK was supposed to take place offline or something. I think they could've done better with the main character design. But whatever, I'm just thrilled theres going to be a combination of like, ALL the .hack characters!
