Well that seems to be the overall feeling. The PS3 is priming itself to break out in a big way the holiday season so I'm assuming its going to take the cake this season.

I have a 360 myself, the only thing i really dont like is that it is the only system where online play isn't free. As far as the war goes, All of the consoles have their own perks. But I'd like to get a playstation, in case of a new .hack game.

Kind of old news, but bite me.

The XBox 360 60 GB Model is now only $299. With most stores selling the Wii Accessory Bundle ($349.99) and the PS3 at the same price (refurbished, that is), plus all the amazing things coming to the 360 (Netflicks, Installing Games to Hard Drives, Avatars), and almost all games being ported to the 360 (lol Final Fantasy), I think it's pretty much clear that the 360 is coming out on top in the console wars.

Agree or Disagree? State your reasons, yadda yadda.

Also, will this finally convince some of you PS3 knuckleheads to get a 360?

It might be your opinion but NO WAY. Let's check. First, you said "almost all games being ported to the 360". Sorry but I have to disagree. What about Little big planet, Metal gear solid 4, God of war 3, Final Fantasy versus XIII (yeah, just FFXIII is being ported, not FFvXIII). Moreover, there is the blu- ray thing which is making Ps3 get a lot of exclusives(MGS4, for example). I could say other reasons like HOME service and etc.
Okay, to make this clear, I am not saying which one is the best. Just arguing that this war is not over yet.

MGS4 isnt going to the 360 I can tell you that. The game is just way too big for it, and despite what people(fanboys) say the PS3's graphic engine is too far above the 360 to make the jaw dropping scenes and framerates MGS4 offers.

Also Fallout 3 isnt 360 exclusive, its for PC 360 and PS3

I didn't make this thread to say the 360 was the best, just that I preferred it, and in my opinion it wins ;D

I'm sure if I liked the games coming out on the PS3, I'd probably feel different, but the only one I want is MGS4.

The same here. I don't really enjoy Gears of war 2 or Fallout 3 since I prefer games like God of War or kingdom hearts. That is why I chose PS3.

Also the Wii is the console war winner by default because of casuals. The 360 would probably be in the lead if the Wii wasn't so popular with non-gamers. The PS3 has never had a chance.

I had a dreamcast... I loved it, but my brother's friend stole it when we went to tampa for a few days. I had Sonic, Dead or alive and a few other games. I do miss mine tho
