woah don't get into DB/Z/GT's story lines, many people here can understand it. they think DBZ has no story line, which makes me feel sorry for them. they prob think there has to be a damsle in distress to have a plot line.

Oh, DBZ has a storyline. It's just piss-poor awful, and Akira Toriyama was one of the first to admit it after the Frieza arc, commenting that he had to start making up crap to explain why everyone was getting more and more powerful.

And most hardcore DB/DBZ fans I know think DBGT is awful. Can't say I disagree, but I lulz because Pan is probably one of the most well-developed characters in the whole f*cking franchise next to Gohan.

I can agree with this much, DBGT was **** compared to any other series, and the only reason I watched it was because of my fandom, otherwise, I never watched it again

You know... I absolutely love (<=THIS IS SARCASM) how you guys are treating DBZ as if it has some sort of highbrow story. All throughout it was look for the dragon balls make a wish, fight in a tournament, fight a demon or an army or an alien or an android or an android alien, almost lose the fight until a character transforms or fuses with someone, then the cycle pretty much starts again. It really just gets boring after a while and I would have been genuinely pleased had every thing ended with the Frieza saga. After that five minute fight that took around 20 episodes or so. Then maybe, JUST MAYBE, I wouldn't be so bitter about Dragon Ball Z.

First I never said you didn't understand the plot line. Second, what group? I was referring to you guys as those that enjoy Dragon Ball Z while stating my opinion on why I believe it to be boring as hell. So if you mean you don't want me to lump you in with people that like Dragon Ball Z, when clearly you do, all you've done is contradict yourself.

lol i am so one of them people...i say how gay it is and i hate it so much but i own the latest pokemon game for the ds and i still love it but i dont watch the show anymore because i dont have time to watch it, and im usually too busy catching up on code geass and death note, and bleach!!!

Well, I found that I severely lost interest during the Android Saga, and really never watched another episode....until years later. I like DBZ, but...it's over-use of over-exaggeration in fight scenes, and just poor if not pathetic romance scenes throughout the show just really turned me off to it. Not to mention that almost every episode left you on a cliff-hanger or was just filler. That's my opinion. Don't like it? W/E.

If all the immature people would actually look at the series and apply the tiniest shard of logic, they would have to admit that the whole "Dragonball is for kids" thing is pure **** conjured for the sole purpose of someone being able to point and laugh at those who read/watch it.

The gore and adult themes in DB (heck, how about the nudity in the first two volumes, followed by straight on boob-flashing only a few volumes later?) are definitely not for small kids, no matter what people believe. The only reason I got myself volumes of Dragon Ball as early as I did (it was the start of my future anime fandom actually) was no doubt because my parents assumed all comics are for kids. I don't think they even know about the gore to this day.

DB is sometimes awesome and sometimes boring. FTrunks owning Freeza, Goku sparring with FTrunks after his return and Gohan going SSJ2 are all several degrees of awesome, especially in the anime.
Not to mention the episode set in FTrunk's alternate future.

I'm actually more interested in the DB movie than a new DB series though. The DB series could be anything from good to bad, but I know for certain that the movie is going to be hilarious :3
