I disagree as well. I loved all songs in Roots, especially the opening and ending songs.
And who could forget the theme that occured in the last episode?

no, the opening and endings songs rocked, and i love those, we are mainly talking about the insert songs.. alot of them didnt even match the scenes!

I don't remember any of the music from //SIGN (except for the OP and ED), but I watched most of //Roots recently and I have to say, they did a great job with the OST. I hold a strong contempt toward ALI PROJECT, but Dwindled Bible was one of the most epic songs I've ever heard in any anime.
