but mostly the music I personally focus on is alternative,rock and all different kinds of metal

And just a side note: Just like people, don't generalize a whole genre based upon the mainstream. Most of the rap in the news and played on the radio is quite despicable, but the rap genre itself can't be.

I dislike metal because of it's musical qualities and what the muscial base is, not because, say something like, "z0mg, that metal nonsense, THEYR DEVAL WURSHIPRS!". Not that I would ever say anything like that. Meh.

Also, I dig hip hop (hyphy especially), rap, some pop, classic rock, classical, jazz, oldies, and opera.

That and it does take good vocabulary and knowledge of the good stuff to rap. I mean, not all rap and hip hop is about sex and drugs.
