For people who think Makoto made Enchanted Arms suck:
I thought he was f*cking hilarious!
I'd sooo pair up Makoto x Hiiragi, any day. :D
...Ahem.
Toya is sexy.
That is all.

I think the Gundam games suck so much that the old Digimon games had better graphics.

So it's alright to bash other games within a topic, yet you cannot MAKE a topic speaking your mind on a game without being criticized? I think that's pretty hypocritical. We're all different, we have different likes and dislikes, and EA is one of mine.

It's asking to be flamed. If I made a thread title. "Kingdom hearts is a worthless peice of dog crap under the shoe of a dead hobo" I'd be flamed to hell, even though I think this.

XD, I see your point, i'm just never one to sugar-coat anything, it's a gift and a curse one in the same. With that being said, I apologize to anyone I have offended, but not for my personal opinion on the game.

Doesn't bother me like I've said to each their own, even though I pretty much agree on Enchanted Arms being a mediocre game. If I would of played it longer might have grown on me though like Ephemeral Fantasia did, which a lot of people think that game is crap.
But the time I've spent playing EA, was enough for an initial impression that I wouldn't like it no matter how long I played it for some games just give off that vibe to you ya know.

So who has played it I have a couple questions
1- how is the magic in the game powerful? Weak? Great effects? lame effects? Is there any magic?
2- Do weapons change appearance when you equip a new weapon? Or are you stuck with the same weapon sprite the whole game?
3- Is the story gripping or does it fizzle out?

1. Magic in the game I admit is something that catches the eye, because it IS beautiful, rendering and presention wise, though that's not enough to win me over and call it a GOOD game. A good game needs a great story and memorable characters to compliment the juiced up graphics and flashy effects. Hell, give me a sprite based RPG anyday with a story like FFVII and i'll be happy anyday. Graphics in RPGs at least don't make the game, they only help the sale. Of course if we were talking about Halo, or Gears of War, good graphics are a must.
3. Weapons do change, that's something that should be standard in all rpgs however, so that was expected. One thing they did that I liked I admit however, was the Golem mini-games, where you catch and train them to fight for you...and please do not ask if it's like Pokemon.
3. The story is as gripping as a 3rd grade school play, but I'll give credit to the character designs, graphically wise at least. The biggest idiot is Asuma, though the one who played his voice makes me laugh with the horrible acting..in a comedic way.

XDD, in terms of basic premise, with fighting and catching, then raising their levels, yes, but that's where the similarities end. ^__^
