Well well, I did post on the off topic forum since I had no place to put it. I do believe the topic to be a general or social type one, but since it does ask about Yuri anime and Yaoi, so it is appropriate to have it in the animation forum.

Now, I posed those questions to confirm the popularity of Yuri in different forums and in the overall net culture. It's pretty much research if you will.
I posted these questions on other forums I frequent to see what the community of those places think of Yuri. What does this have to do with .hack? Nothing at all. Just simple research.

now that I think about it Yuri HAS become a pretty gone topic. So many ppl
have become Yaoi fans and massive amounts of pure Yaoi media are coming out to support that. Not that I care but I bet some of those stories are pretty nice as well....

There's a way to be polite with your feelings.

It's like on fanfiction.net, when the summary tells you what will be in the story and ASKS you not to read it if you won't like it, but the people open it and read it anyway. Where's the sense in that? Logic tells me to stay away from something if I don't like it.

not quite what i was trying to say.
i was saying, that in the recent yaoi topic here, everyone was there posting good stuff. but now, with this yuri topic, people are here posting bad stuff.
now, seeing as i was saying that there are no females on the net (of course, common knowledge). then that only leaves one option

Why not? People should want to be nice to each other by nature. You can't tell me you like being indecent? Or that if someone walked up to you with a bad attitude just because they felt like it, you would enjoy being treated that way? (Note that I'm not saying you have a bad attitude--just that I don't get why you wouldn't want to be a nice person.)

You've already given your opinion, so saying it over and over again is the equivalent of trying to be annoying, which just isn't necessary--or polite.

Because, saying "I hate yuri" isn't actually discussing it.

Now, if you said some things about why you disliked it, and actually discussed it instead of repeating how much you hate it, then I wouldn't have a single problem.

Kannazuki no Miko was a fairly good yuri anime, despite the  sad ending even after the credits.

I love both. Yuri especially. Not sure why, though. I guess it's because girls are prettier than guys - except in anime, the guys are often just as pretty if not moreso than the girls. It's weird. My yuri gallery is huge, though.
