And I thought the ending would be... they complete the jewel, Inuyasha's all happy but is pondering over what to do with it... Some weird demon thing comes up behind him and he doesn't notice because he's too busy celebrating. Kagome grabs her bow and arrow to fire at the demon but accidentally hits the jewel. It shatters into a million pieces and they must go collect it again. :3

But that would've been worse, huh? ^^;

"The movie better sure as hell make up for this..." And it won't. D< Well, NGE DID make up for their ending in the movies. Their excuse was budget reasons.

The only thing I ever liked about Inuyasha were the two RPG video games. >_>; But, then again, I'm a whore for anything RPG-ish.

The ending was just BAD. I've seen worse anime come up with better endings than that. Absolutely NOTHING was solved! WTF and a half! Inuyasha and Kagome haven't done it yet, Naraku is still alive, and the jewel shards are still all over the freaking place!

Tsukasa, I like your ending better. I think it would have been more interesting if she had hit Inuyasha instead. :x

The way the anime ended, I thought there would be more episodes. Isnt the manga still going? Maybe in the future someone will start making more episodes based on the manga. That would be smart considering how they left things with the last episode.

Very befitting ending for it, I agree.
I could never understand why it is that people like Inuyasha...or Naruto... or DBZ because they all seem like they're the same thing to me - I mean, they are little kid's shows.
Inuyasha had no real plot or character development of any kind, it's only right for it to end without any real conclusion. I can only hope that Takahashi gives up on the manga... but as long as the fantards keep pumping money into paraphenalia.. the horror will continue.

Yeah spaeking of DBZ I hope they don't demand for a DBZ GT manga.

I also hope they don't air the fillers over in america.

it wasn't the end of inuyasha, just the anime. Alot of anime do this. I can name one right off the bat: Berserk. You dont see people crying over it. There are alot of shows which end prematurely and still go on in a Manga. A bad way to end a anime ya, but that doesn't mean its the *end*

Oh I know.

Oh, I know for a fact that it isn't the end of Inuyasha. It's gonna keep going in the manga, but it wouldn't surprise me none, if they did a finale to the show in movie form. Let's just hope they don't screw it up like they did Divergence Eve.

The "Fire on Mystic Isle" movie was the last move they said they were going to do.End of story.Inuyahsa anime is dead.Nothing else too it.

I heard that too, but didn't they say the same thing about NGE? I mean, come on, the least they could have done was end it in a bang instead of a fizzle, for all the hours people spent watching that damn show, you would think they would give fans something to celebrate other than the fact that Inuyasha anime has ended. Like the Death of Kagura and Kanna.

And besides, I though that those two were killed by Kaguya in the Castle Beyond the Looking Glass. Unless that was Non-Canon.

But, that's just my opinion on this.

Kanna and Kagura werent even in Castle Beyond the looking glass. And,the NGE movies are basically every episode packed into 5 awesome hours.

That's why I was wondering...because in the series they were still alive, but in the Castle Beyond the Looking Glass, Kaguya kills them.....she drowns them by paralyzing them. So, I'm just curious about the whole thing....does anyone here know if it was Canon or not.......as in did the movie actually happen during the course of the anime or not?

The movies aren't canon at all.

I don't remember Kanna and Kagura being killed though...

Yeah

I'm warning you, I'm putting up some random manga spoilers (and BTW, the anime ending was gay).
Not in order, BTW.

Kagura is killed by Naraku after saving Kohaku.
Kikyo dies. Again. Permantly.
Rin dies. Again. But gets revived by Sesshomaru's momma.
Kohaku hangs out with Sesshomaru now.
Kanna commits suicide.
Byakuya is Naraku's last incarnation.
Koga was with Inuyasha's gang, but left.

That was the ending???....... :o .......I thought that was just another regular episode. Well i must say if that is the ending I'm disappointed i was thinking the story would end with Inuyasha getting the jewel becoming human and having Kagome as his mate , or wife either title seems to fit here. Dang now people are gonna make crappy stories trying to continue where Rumiko Takahashi has left off.........be afraid people be very afraid...Wait WHAT!!! ITS ALREADY STARTED OH NOES!!! SAVE THE CHILDREN!!
