Maybe it wasnt that powerfull
your root town for .hack info since 2003

It may have been the stratgey that was hard, not the power... If its invincable to everything but its current type maybe it wasn't displayed so ppl would have to figure it out on their own. Then a level 50 could beat the one sin with good reasoning.AuraTwilight wrote:Are you kidding? The original One Sin was the most powerful monster in the history of Za Warudo.
dont forget he is an Epitaph user and remember Haseo went from level 133(or so) backt one. Adia may have done the same thing not sure why Kuukai did Spoilers since Vol 2 is coming out but dont want to be rude.Kuukai wrote:Orca was eternally at level 50, so I think we can rule out the decay explanation. Also, because Balmung is only 10 levels higher after three games, we can probably safely assume that it's all just for the sake of balancing. I mean, look at Kuhn. He was playing R:2 since it started, is a founder of the largest guild in the game, and he's level like, nothing, when you get him...
but you still have that fact he helpped make kestrel and they level up.TheEnigma wrote:Kuhn's current character was a low level to start because, remember wat gaspard and silabus said, their guild was created to help people, not raise levels.
It's for gaming purposes. .hack is already so easy, if you started off with a level 60 Kuhn then it would be way too easy. Also, Bordeaux and her buddies are high level Kestrel PKs. I doubt being 20 something is high leveled.Death_hacker wrote:but you still have that fact he helpped make kestrel and they level up.TheEnigma wrote:Kuhn's current character was a low level to start because, remember wat gaspard and silabus said, their guild was created to help people, not raise levels.
Not exactly. One person couldn't do it, since they wouldn't be able to manage the necessary timing of their attacks. Three could, but wouldn't have any real advantage over two, and would likely have a much harder time figuring out what was going on in order to come up with the necessary tactics.AuraTwilight wrote:The One Sin was designed so that two people, and only two people (no more, no less) could defeat it.
I had say it already ,read all the threadAvatar Skeith wrote:so thats what Ovans level was always wanted to know what level he was.
They were the ONLY ones to beat One Sin. Fact.Well perhaps Orca and Balmung were the first who actually killed the One Sin when it came out in the game itself, it's an event right? So maybe they were the only good and fast ones that cut through and beat it than the rest.
One Sin isn't an AI.Also, One Sin is still AI
It was a perfectly ordinary preprogrammed NPC. No artificial intelligence involved.Marioshinobi wrote:Also, I doubt the One Sin was controlled by a character. So I would assume it has an AI like all the other monsters, even in vol 2 it's gonna reappear and yet it's still AI. Program controlled=Attack,Defend,Attack,Heal,Attack.
Well, every NPC that fights has a programmed AI, just that the AI side doesn't act on its own.Shinsou Wotan wrote:It was a perfectly ordinary preprogrammed NPC. And I'm saying they're the only ones who beat it at all, no matter being the fastest. It was a one-time only thing. (Well, until R:2)Read the whole thing, I said they were the only ones who beat it first when it came out.
I already know they killed it and it's a fact, why else give them the title and balmung wings?I wasn't saying they didn't beat it, simply stating that they were the fasted people to do so =.=
Not by .hack definition, and not by definition of any serious, competent AI researcher.Responding to a situation with a certain response *even if preprogrammed* is a form of AI. Very primitive AI, but AI nonetheless.
