Dude all you got to do at low lvls is use the scroll called the moon and you just put him to sleep with that attack him and continuosly use the moon again when he wakes up which will be everytime you hit him. I defeated him at lvl 18 but he killed me once and i came up with that strategy, I hopes it helps :D

I think Greedy Cervantes was the hardest really, when i fought the others they were pusheovers, i didnt even used the moon on them. But when Greedy Cervantes appeared for the first time i didnt remember the bounty hunter thing, so I said WTF who is this guy. Who was suprised like me when you saw him?

That thing I made or the banner at the top itself?

You can go ahead and use that thing I "made" though. All I did was point out the Search link. o.o

Actually, u may want to have your morale bar max, hopefully along with the lucky animal sleipnir before u fight the blacklist PKs.
One thing to note:
1)try not to use broadsword when activating beast awakening
2)when u are using twin blade, try not to use the chain, spin effects of the twin blade, cause its damage is low and takes up time, esp. when your lvl is low.(Just press till the combo ends nicely before the weapon's specialty comes in, and start the combo again)

ripper blades may be better then the spin needles but u can't alchamize it or custamize it to your liking so i generally don't use them.

to settle this right here right now
+5 Needle>Rippers Blades

The choice? Keep both, a +5 needle is hard to aquire(well not really just make sure you have some cash to spare....) but it does much more damage than rippers, it also gives you the choice of what materia you want to put on it. Rippers is easier to get does less damage, and keeps you stuck with a Backstab-sleep materia set. But it is all a matter of opinion, some people like Hold+Releash better so they choose to use +5 neddle, others like rappid tap, and they take rippers. I prefer +5 Needle cause I know how to make it so my whole combo is criticals.

its true that the +5 needles is more powerful(and no its not hard 2 get) but i prefer the ripper's blades cause not only to they look kooler in my opinion but i get rengeki a lot faster with ripper's blades then i do with the +5 needles.
