Zer0 wrote:All I have to say is LOL. Click the link.Reports are circling around the Internet at a rapid pace about a woman who had posted a personal ad on Craigslist.org offering sexual favors in exchange for 'World of Warcraft' gold.
Needing 5000 gold to purchase an 'Epic Flying Mount,' one of the fastest mounts in the game, she offered anyone, male or female, playing on her server the opportunity to perform a variety of sexual acts in exchange for the in-game currency. Chief among her deviant interests was finding a partner into role-playing, going so far as to inform potential suitors that she has a costume ready for the occasion.
ClubSi.com managed to snag screenshots of the postings, including a posting the next day about her success, before they were removed from Craigslist.
Obviously she didn't read the upcoming 'World of Warcraft' development notes where her character class will be able to acquire an epic mount (epic flying form) through a quest in lieu of purchasing one.
Look at this as an example of immediate vs. differed gratification, kids.

DAMN. RUNESCAPE = FTW?! MIGHT SUCK, BUT OH WELL?!Red Frost wrote:I don't play any online games whatsoever too! ^_^ (Unless Neopets counts... ._. I don't play much, though.) But this story is just... geez. What the Hell!?Kouen wrote:The lengths at which WoW users will go to play it. Thank gawd I quit online gaming and am bias against WoW.
It's so stupid, I use to hear these 2 kids in my highschool go ON and ON about Runescape. Talking about doing some crap for 20 dollars or saying "I'll give you a dollar for every what-the-hell you give me!". One of them was so stupid, they were gonna buy some duplicating device off of Ebay. Dumbest-kid-ever!!!
The only online game I'll play is probably Dot Hack (whenever the hell it's made online).
no, it wasn't cybering, because in the second post she said that she got laid, basicaly stating it was real life.t_s_u_k_a_s_a wrote:No not cybering... real life.FlickerHaseo wrote:Wow, cybering? SADZ0RZ T0 TEH EXTREME PLZ!
<<;; It wasn't cybering... right? Because I'm sure people on WoW do that all the time for free.

That kind of backs it up, but it's not really definitive proof it "WAS" Fake.S1lentOp wrote:Word is that the offer was completely bogus and basically a joke. I honestly wouldn't take it very seriously. This is pretty old news and so far there's been no known takers. Also, the offer suddenly disappeared from where it was originally posted suggesting that it was in fact a joke.
