Any benefit to having 9999 Arena points when starting vol2?

Does being the top rank team, above AKATSUKI (now where have I heard that name before ) help then? Or are all rankings in the arena practically useless?

I went above them just for the hell of it.

The rankings are practically useless. Except for probably the thrill of being the top ranking team, with the gayest name. "Team Haseo", they could've atleast let you name your team.

I agree, but I suppose they didn't let you name your team for the same reason they don't let you name yourself like they let you did in IMOQ--the Commentator says "Team Haseo" in the talking sequences several times.
And they can't let you rename Haseo because...

The commentator uses "Team (leaders name)" for everyone in the tournaments though, regardless of what other name they have.
