I always had a thought that Ovan was possibly Balmung.

He's not, just incase you still think that.

He would have known alot more about the key of the twilight if that was the case.
Ovan is a completly new character,or at least not one of the dothackers.

Oh I know he's not, just that the age is about right and far as I remember never learn any thing much about him IRL, and when I first saw Ovan he reminded me of Balmung.

Pi seems like the oposite of Ohka from the kiddy .hack anime. Maybe related?

Actually, they told us alot about Ovan. Even his name, profession, and age.

Pi and Ouka aren't related, and Alkaid and Blackrose aren't the same.

Was talking about Balmung when saying that, I thought it was obvious that I was but guess I should been more clear on that.

Yes, but he was just some random guy as we're lead to believe. I thought for sure he might have been someone from back then (until he told Yata[or maybe it was Naobi at the time] that he(Yata) was the one who told Ovan about the Key of the Twilight).
