Seriously though, lets thing, Piros the 3rd is the only Lord Partizan in all of GU(WHY COULDN'T NALA JOIN US, THAT PC WOULD BE MUCH NICER THAN THE ALTERNATE!), which makes him useful automatically. Just like in IM until angel-girl-with-long-name showed up. This time through you HAVE to use him if you want a Lord Partizan

You don't really need him ever again once you get the broadsword. Most of the hard battles will have you needing Atoli and a fast attacker or Steam Gunner.

Well, is Piros the 3rd actually used in future quests and missions in vol. 2 or 3?

Only if you want to. He might have another quest unique to him but I'm not sure.
