I can't believe no one has said this... I guess it's up to me:

Wooden board with nails in it, or "Plank" (Silent Hill 2)

Here's a few more:
Great Knife - Silent Hill 2
Katana - Silent Hill 3 (I just like it, and it makes Heather that much cooler)

I don't think anybody mentioned the Blades of Chaos (God of War). Generally I like any weapon that turns into molten lava when it attacks.
