That's the way I see it. It sounds more to me like Aina is just someone Ovan kinda stumbled upon on accident, then visited more and more often. She gets used to him being there, calls him Brother just as title. It's a common thing in animus and mungas.

It's probably not a movie scene though. The part in Vol.2 wasn't. In fact it looks like most of the important stuff in this game isn't a movie scene. I think I watched them all and I barely felt spoiled at all. Not to mention I haven't seen anything remotely resembling a "grand finale" like they said. Looks like we'll have play the game to see the good stuff.

So we got a point... the same that hapenned before is happening in GU, this definetely means that the Ultimate AI will be reborn as Aina, but only the fanatics that can beat an game in less than 13 hours must really know what happened by now...

OVA wasn't released with the game, at least I didn't get the OVA. But it has an announcement for like March, and I believe if I read this thing right as it hinted, in order to actually view the OVA you need all three volumes of .hack GU, because on the back cover there are 4 numbers/letters and matching them all up makes 12 numer/letter code, and that is needed to view the OVA disc.
Either that or it's a different disc with something very special but it did have OVA labeled above it.
