I'd imagine if it was just the game you could pre-order but the fact it comes with bonus' they restrict it .-.

Not sure if many of you noticed but Amazon.jp has 3 listings for the Premium Edition so far:

Pre-ordered! I've had awful luck with online retailers over the last year, so I'll be begging my boss (I work at a game store) to get some copies of G.U. in if he can, so this will be back-up.

The World R:2 shuts down on 31-12-2018 due to many server problems…
Vol 4 will probably explore the last few months before the game dies, Haseo logs-in 15months after the finale of Vol 3.

I'll just leave this here. Glad to see many of us were spot on about the sword-whip. Looks kind of like they're using the same engine and assets on this new volume from the other games, which is cool with me. The game looks great as it is.

Also sounds like it'll be a race against time to save Ovan before R2 closes down due to server problems if this guy's translation is accurate.

Is anybody else super excited about what's "after"this? They did say that something brand new was in the works, and they're most likely doing this to G.U. to bring in new fans to .hack while also tying up loose ends.

Haseo's new form is even more awesome than I imagined. Also Kusabila reminds me of Ovan somehow. What does everyone think?

BlackKite has always been a top notch translator. More often seen in the Dynasty Warriors/Koei-Tecmo scene though, I guess with new dot hack information he decided to put his talents to use for our community as well. That is an interesting premise, I wonder how that will play out. Obviously "server problems" is never the real reason "The World"'s versions end. I am curious to know what is really behind the count down.

I just dropped around $170 CND on it, plus the local release. So together this new game will cost me $200+ :'(
But I'll bite the bullet, anything for my beloved franchise now that it's finally getting some love!

I requested the Amazon Limited version through their proxy service since Amazon JP usually has some cute goodies that come with. Guess they put up proxy items on their site to get anyone else interested to order as well!

I've placed an order for the Premium Edition at amiami. Same place as I got the Versus special edition from. iirc I paid for the best shipping on that and got it just 4 days after the game released which was pretty sweet. Their list price is 9600 yen and they say the pre-order theme is included. Going purely by Yen thats a better deal than the other places so I figured I'd put it out there just in case!

But I always pay for a decent shipping with tracking, plus extra fees for the proxy purchase, so it added up. They also 99% of the time give a bunus pre-order item exclusive to them, so maybe I'll get a poster or keychain or pin etc.. lol

I never used Play-Asia. How is their packaging and shipping rates?

Hmm... since Aina managed to make it to the front cover of the full edition, I wonder if that means she'll be a Party Member now?

Oh yes, I would love that! I absolutely adore Aina's design and since we must help Ovan, it only make sense that she joins us so that she can helps her brother too.

And like I said in another thread, I hope that Sakisaka is a Party Member as well (I want him in the games so bad). He knew Ovan (they were part of the same Guild after all) and Tabby will appear in the story of the Vol. 4, plus we all know these two are quite the pair, lol. I guess it is unlikely to happen though, sadly...
