"Reid?" Sylpharion fell on his back laughing. "Of course! It had to be him. Hahahaha!" When he could breathe without bursting into laughter he, "I met him yesterday." He opened a whisper chat channel with Kara, "As he and I are now, I could probably beat him, but that's not because I'm better than him, it's because he's not using the hardware he was before and I'm using something similar." He exited whisper mode, "Speaking of the Reality Guardians, I wonder what's taking Kite?"

He stood alone in the field, rain carressing his serene features. His hair even matted down with the wetness, as it would in real life. His eyes held great sorrow, sorrow that he couldn't let go of. He looked down his arm to were his hands were, wrinkled and gnarled. He was old. He was dying. "Is this to be my fate?" Steven jumped out of bed, realizing he'd slept the whole time. "There's no way i'm not late!" He took one step, and when sliding down the guild hall. "Dammit Grunty, you're in my way!" He kicked his way to the door, and rushed out.
Seconds passed, and suddenly the door opened, revealing a hand. It waved around a bit, as if looking for something. Then, it landed on the hat rack, took it's prize, and left without single sound. Steven walked through Mac Anu, a smile on his face, his hat on his head.

Kara: hey what's so funny? ( after he opens up awhile per channel she replies) wait?! He's here he's in the world? What and you met him? When where? Huh?! But he disappeared to years ago I thought he just left and what do you mean is he weaker now or something?

"Eh? You don't know?" Marcus reentered whisper mode; he waved his hand back and forth above him, "I kind of figured you knew about the whole coma and trapped in The World thing." Sylpharion sat up on his elbows and looked at Kara quizzically, "Or were you not a Reality Guardian?"

Kara: that jerk I can't believe hw came back and he hasent even had the nerve to contact his old partner! ( she continues her whisper conversation) no I wasent a reality guardian... I guess you don't know the whole story do you? Reid before the coma, the outbreak and before the reality guardians?....it's Abit of a story


Fyron: hmmm? I wonder what their talking about?

Reid: ( he slices through a monster as he narrowly dodges a oncoming attack as he quickly swaps out weapons to his scythe) how you holding up on your end sennas wanna switch up enemies? ( he smiles at her) Ot looks like this bugger is Abit of a challenge!

He switched whisper mode off and replied to Fyron's question, "We're discussing terms for the surrender of her number." Back to whisper, "Lost his member address list and figured you would have left the game by now? I've known at least a dozen people who have logged out for the last time in the short time I've been playing. You can regale me with the rest of the tale on our way up." Sylpharion hopped up to his feet to stretch and switched whisper mode off, "Alright, by my count it's been about an hour. Let's get going." He sent everyone a party invite and approached the center of the platform betwixt the pillars and set a fossilized egg in the middle, he then went to each pillar and placed a crystal in each pillar's shining core. When he was done the egg shone and then with a loud crack the One Sin flew out, quickly growing to full size and flew away.

The remains of the egg flew together and became a scintillating rainbow colored portal. "Ok, we've got about a minute, last chance to back out. No takers? Great!" Kite arrived. ((Assuming this is where he was headed.) "Cutting it a little close, aren't you?" He invited Kite and used speed charms on everyone, "As soon as we warp, follow me and don't stop running for anything." He looked at Nagi, "Especially you. Do not stop running, not even for the treasure chests." Sylpharion touched the portal and shouted, "One God Eater!" They arrived on a stone platform in midair and Sylpharion started running across the connected bridge as the platform began to fall behind them.

They reached the bottom of a tower and he dropped a smokescreen as they ran past the couple of goblins that were sitting at the bottom of it and just started sprinting up the stairs, ignoring dozens of treasure chests along the way, he made sure that the pace he was going was one he hoped the others could keep up with. He dropped another smokebomb as they came to a landing with more goblins, he repeated the process a number of times until they reached the top of the tower, which led out onto another bridge and the speed charms wore off. He didn't waste time reapplying them and just kept running until he was off the bridge and standing in an area that looked a great deal like Mac Anu's town square where a trio of large lizardmen, each a level 80 field boss on it's own, stood armed and waiting. The tower and connected bridge collapsed scant seconds after the last of them were off. "Everybody here?" Sylpharion gasped out as he started counting heads.

so I'd have to read 9 pages to get here... oh gawd no... maybe next time...

"Alright, I'm going to win this time!" she yelled while running of to a group of monsters.

( you really wouldn't even have to read all 9 pages I could of just summarized what happened)

Reid: ( he grins at senna) yeah well we'll see then ( he readies his weapon) 5 minutes who ever has the most poi ys racked up will be the winner how does that sound? ( he be parrys a on coming attack as he swaps to his twin blades ) haaaaah! <<Gale Blade!!>> ( he activates his gale blade ability as he slashes the monsters)

Fyron: ( he readies his blade) yeah I'm here

Adol: ( he does the same but he takes a different stance from before) it looks like it

Nagi: aww man we passed by all of those different chests... Rggghhhh it's this things fault!!!

Kara: ( she stretches) sylpharion what's the rush eh? ( she grins) its not like this thing can escape me

Sylpharion grinned at Kara, "We really are going to need to finish those surrender negotiations later." He took one last deep breath and drew his blade. "Alright, let's get going, there are plenty of chests full of shiny loot forwards and upwards, where do you think I got Saint George's Cross? The sword that cut down the three of you. It's admittedly not the shiniest, but it is five stars, oddly enough though it only has a single listed ability, Dragon's Bane which punches through defensive abilities, a truly impressive statblock, and a comfortable feel."

The party made good time through the ten floor dungeon, but it was still ten long draining floors. Sylpharion seemed unphased by it, despite taking the biggest beatings on the way up as the usual strategy was the blademasters draw aggro while the rest of the party focused all of their efforts on each monster in turn and as party leader he ordered the party to go in order from Adol's to Fyron's and finally to the ones Sylpharion was keeping busy. They were standing outside the entrance to the final "floor" with a portal next to him, "Ok, there is no battle area for the One Sin, because the entire floor is a battle area. He's also immune to smokebombs, and a few other general rules, and he's only vulnerable to one element at a time based on his aura. You five stay out of the way for five minutes so you can see his attacks." Sylpharion switched to his movement speed enhancing accessory and lead the way into the boss chamber. The room was made of stone, there was a large ring above and encircling a massive central platform. I'll need every edge I can get for the next five minutes. He turned the pain damper back off, used a speed charm, and equipped the Cerulean Mjolnr armor. "Stay up here, try to stay behind something, and don't get hit by the rocks. As the saying goes, Rocks fall everyone dies." Sylpharion stated as he walked down the steps out onto the platform and the quarter of the chamber wall in front of him was blasted inwards as the massive One Sin dragon barreled into the chamber and immediately charged towards Sylpharion, preceeded by a gout of flame.

The Cerulean Knight dodged the incoming stone blocks as he sprinted towards the One Sin, he suddenly rocketed to the side, forcing the dragon to turn his neck to try and keep pace, it ultimately failed, but it got searingly close, Marcus felt like his skin was bubbling underneath the armor. He landed a glancing blow on it's claw and kept running as the dragon began using a dizzying variety of attacks to try and smite Sylpharion including an aura blast that filled the central platform and knocked Sylpharion to a wall and cut his health by a third, the One Sin followed that up with a blast of shadowy smoke that nearly obliterated him if he hadn't activated a skill to nigh instantaneously close the distance between him and the dragon and dodge the breath. Just short of the five minute mark Sylpharion was flung high into the air by a wing buffet that caused only minimal damage. Gets me every time. Well, if you've got to go, you might as well go in style. Marcus thought to himself as he flipped in the air and switched to his usual armor and sheathed his sword. He stared down into the maw as light gathered at the back of it's throat, nearly a dozen large and powerful streams of light shot forth to pierce the blademaster. Might as well try, right? Marcus waited till the last possible second before he drew his blade bellowing, "Mother's Rosario!" The blade did something it shouldn't have done right then, it began to glow and the eleven hit combo activated as a skill and he managed to parry the breath weapon. As Sylpharion landed on the dragon's nose and slid down it's spine and tail leaving a trail in the form of a very long cut on his way down, he got a message that said, Original Sword Skill: Mother's Rosario registered. "The hell is an original sword skill?" Marcus asked aloud as he danced around the dragon's claws. "Don't be shy, the water's fine."

This is fun it's like the good old days again...
She quickly ran towards a monster and slashed at it.
Let's see if they changed the rengekis...

Reid: haah! ( after he finishes off a monster gets completely blind sided he blocks a powerful attack from a monster as it knocks him back) ah! Tch allright! Then!

System: would you like to preform <<cross Rengeki>> with user <<senna> yes\No ? ( at the same time the same message appears infront of senna)

Reid: cross Rengeki? Sure sounds interesting! ( he clicks yes) alright! ( he gets ready)

Kara: allright! ( she jumps down) haaaah! ( her fists collides with the one sins head causing damage but the one sin just looks irritated) n-nice dragon?...( she blocks a claw attack though sill receives damages as she flies into sylpharion)

Adol: oh crap! ( he runs and jumps as he blocks a second claw attack aimed at sylpharion and Kara) rrggghh! ( he seems almost different then his fight with sylpharion before he seems more focused) Nagi!

Nagi: right! ( she spins her weapon around skillfully as she strikes the one sin but then narrowly manages to block a attack) this is too much!

Fyron:. ( he crouches down) This is insane it really is a unkillable monster... ( he jumps down and he runs at the mighty dragons his speed actually seems abiut the same as sylpharions he jumps over its tail as it try's to strike him he clashes his blade against its mighty scales his blade bounces right off as he draws aggro towards himself)

Kara: damn this things strong! Raaaggghh!

Adol: ( he continues to clash his blade with the dragons mighty claws narrowly blocking each hit as he manages to cover for Nagi) Nagi! Sis! We'll drAw its attention!

Nagi: ( she jumps back as she readies her weapon deftly)

Fyron: ( he jumps back as he opens up his equipment menu) allright... ( he equips something "special") give me 2 minutes!

"Guys, unless we can get it's aura down none of you will be able to harm it with your physical attacks!" As it used it's shadowy breath attack on Nagi Sylpharion struck it with, "Lei Zas!" The One Sin's "armor" bar went down some as it finally took some damage from something other than Sylpharion's sword attacks. He used Rip Maen to bring Nagi back when the opportunity presented itself. "I realize I set a bad example since I can ignore it with my sword, but y'all should focus on using magic to lower it's aura." Maybe he should have been more specific about what kind of magic, but he figured they could figure it out. Now what did he do when his aura went down the first time? I haven't had to deal with it since I got this sword after all.

Fyron: ( he rushes past sylpharion as he blocks an on coming attack it isn't until after he blocks the attack the he I ow is wielding two swords his black elucidator and a white blade) <<elemental blade>> <<explosion>>!! ( he slashes the dragon with his white blade dealing elemental damage as he slashes with his black blade dealing less elemental damage but major physical damage but the physical barely harms the one sin) Original sword skill: Dual Weild ( he readies his weapon as he faces the mighty dragon)

Kara:....a dual wielding blade master?... Clad in black clothing sylpharion where did you find this guy? ( she gets ready) allright I'm fired up now! ( her gauntlets ignite in flames) lets slay this Dragon!!

Adol: ( he readies his blade) Nagi! Let's go ( he equipms a scroll item) ION BOLT!! ( lighting rains down on the dragon as he rushes in to block a claw attack headed for kara) I'll cover you sis!

Kite stood, his mouth twisted ruefully, his eyes lined with water. He didn't belong here. He looked towards Ried, feeling every ounce of passion he pushed into every attack. Then he focused on Senna, his heart dancing with every step she took. He couldn't handle it. He wasn't this anymore. What had I expected to find, coming here? This is no answer to my happiness. This is no longer important to them. This isn't their life anymore. But it is mine. This is all i have. No more long nights with senna, or long days practicing with reid. What have I become?

She looked at the symbol that popped up on the screen.
Cross Rengeki? Huh...
She clicked the accept button and got ready.
Alright let's see what happens...

Reid: you ready?

System: <<CROSS RENGEKI>> ( all of a sudden both seems and Reid feel a surge I power flowing through their character as both of the players skill menus appear but in the list are 3 different skills it's like a pair coop attack)

Reid: what eve this is...I LIKE IT <<BURST BARRAGE>> ( he readies his scythe as he dashes at the monsters with senna he'll start the attack and senna delivers the killing blow) Haaaaaah!!

"Alright, then!"
She randomly clicked one of the skills from the option menu and watched her character take off and attack the monster.

Reid: ( he slashes past the final monster in the mob) haaaah! ( he essentially sheathes his weapon as he fixes his hat and the monster gets sliced up) allright!!! That was awesome! What was that cross Rengeki? ( he looks over to watch senna finish off the remaining monster) almost time to tally up our points...( he looks off to notice kite)....huh?
