It can't be DLC unless all this stuff was already on the disk. I'll try and keep you guys updated on the changes to the different characters < = )

Sega Sammy can grind GG into the ground by making disappointing Overture sequels to milk the franchise or they can be smart and go back to a fighting game. There won't be any crossover GG,BB game. Not unless those two kiss and make up.
Overture was awesome and it was made by ArcSys alone. It was probably the most input Ishiwatari has had in gameplay since the original GG, or maybe X. For reference, he had virtually none in BB. Sega Sammy had nothing to do with the game, though that's thought to be one of the reasons the setting was a bit different.

That's only in Bandai Namco land. For companies that don't like ripping people off, downloadable content is a patch of entirely new addon content that didn't exist in the original game. That said, this is still ArcSys. We can expect BlazBlue: Collateral Reform, Close Quarters, and Cool Panda before we can expect anything resembling a different game. And yes, we can expect that we'll have to pay full disk price for all of them all. That's just how they roll.

Terumi wouldn't make any sense since he's so powerful, but I can imagine him making an appearance in Hazama's Astral Heat.

I'm happy there are two new characters, but this still seems like the same old same old...

New Pics. Everyone has new character art due to artist change and a lot of characters are getting "rebalanced". So expect some moves to work different and some old combos to not work at all.

Here's hoping the home version has Story Mode...

Though, I was thinking, does this mean Europe will be getting CS first? It's like crazy upside-down world...

No actually Europe is getting CT, the thing about Europe getting CS first was from a bad source.

http://s1.zetaboards.com/blazblue/topic ... on%20Tager

There's a detailed post on the character changes at the first Loketest around 9/26 - 27, there's another Loketest coming up on 10/4 - 6 and some of these changes might stick and some might be changed by then.

But the UK version with more characters, etc., was announced way before CS even was. In some ways it was the first leak. If that was bad information it's an amazing coincidence...

Well nobody knows exactly if they're getting CS first or not but the UK Blazblue site it up and looks like they're talking about CT for the most part.

Also this CS might be coming out for console around spring 2010 along with Super Street Fighter 4, and it's coming to arcades Winter 2009.

The bad thing is that it's the official site for UK Blazblue. I expect a trailer for new BB sometime after this second Loketest during 10/3 and 10/4. Also I like the balancing they're doing for this game, like making Jin more complicated to use by taking away his ability to spam freezing moves then do super long combos. They also balanced Arakune out making a lot of his moves work different and made a more complicated drive system for him.

So the UK is getting CT, then CS? I thought it was just CS too.
Lambda-11 is too much like nu-13, with her drive, and character design, how original. If they we're going to nerf Nu-13, I don't see why they added in Lamda-11 in for. Autobots Roll Out!, should be their new specific dialogue. I'm gonna miss Nu-13 saying "Don't you like me Ragna?" or something like that as Ragna either getting impaled by swords or Nu getting some Inferno Divider.
Hopefully the next Loc test will provide more info, since all the changes aren't set in stone just yet.

Also Hazama isn't finished, that's why he looks very bad and does Bang damage.

With the new color scheme, Lambda-11 kinda reminds me of Zato-1...

It's because Lambda-11 is wearing a black leather suit under her armor, while also being blond.

Just when I thought I was done with this game, it drags me back in, kicking and screaming. Hazama's astral heat looks like he's going to morph into the incredible Hulk.

Funny you should say that, from the getgo Terumi kinda reminded me of Doc Samson, the Incredible Hulk's buff, green-haired friend. I guess they don't have much more in common than those two things, though...

Hmm, apparently "Hazama" is actually his mission codename, not even a "real" fake name. Makes sense, it means "edge," and it's what Hakumen calls that part of space-time where he was...

Okay, so I've just got back from the deadpool of hiatus, and I've skimmed through the last few pages, picked up the infos, and placed it in order, but I'm still confuzzled.
Correct me if this timeline is wrong, It's just my interpretation of events;

1. left to go on hiatus
2. Blazblue announced as an EU game
3. UK Blazblue will - apparently - have more features than the US version
2. Blazblue: Continuum Shift announced (?)
3. Hazama revealed to be a playable character.

I'm not sure about no.3. Will that be CT with added features, or CS with added features, or both of them without ANY added features?
