I gotta be fair in judging that...
As much as I like HaseoxAtoli, that might not signify that he's developed romantic feelings for Atoli. I always looked at Atoli and Shino as symbolic figures. Shino, of course, is "the old." She's everything Haseo knew prior to .hack//GU, everything that defined him, and what he considered his purpose, or better yet, his search for a purpose. Atoli is "the new." She's his reforms, his decision to turn his back on the past and to--well, to put it bluntly--"grow up." So Haseo ditching Shino for Atoli could just be a representation of how he's finally turned his back on his past and "grown up." It could mean he's leaving Shino for Atoli, yeah--but it could also mean he's leaving Shino, Ovan, the Twilight Brigade, and everything he developed in Roots for Silabus, Gaspard, Kuhn, and everything he's developed in GU.
Still like Atoli better than Yowkow as a romantic interest for Haseo, though...
...Even if Yowkow is hot!

In other words, in with the new, out with the old. Haseo realized how much more happier he is with his new friends than he is with Shino.

Couldn't he be doing both? O.o
I believe that Alkaid represents Haseo's romantic interest, but that isn't the same sort of foundation for a relationship that he has with Atoli. His relationship with Atoli is much deeper and more profound than the one he has with Alkaid.
In that sense, we can't say that Haseo would choose one over the other, though it does allow you to read what you want into their relationship, meaning that both Atoli and Alkaid supporters get their fix.

Yeah, of course. ^^ --Oh, don't think that I'm trying to rule something out. I'm just saying that it can be interpreted in so many ways. You can say that him
walking out on Shino means that he chose Atoli as a love interest over Shino, or you could say that it's symbolic of him leaving behind everything he had in the past and accepting--and preferring--what he's got now. Sure, it can mean both things at the same time, but I'm just saying that for the people who don't want to look at the scene as one that determines who Haseo loves, they don't have to.

He should be happier with them! I'd take friends like Kuhn and Silabus over allies like Shino and Ovan any day. *Parties with Kuhn*

I'm afraid to say that you don't make the rules, and that is spam.
Try to contribute something when posting or I'll be forced to lock the topic.

this thread is about the picture of Alkaid and haseo, which is the center piece of this thread, and thus, antthing refering to it is not spam,as my post was cheering on Alkaid as any Alkaid ;oving fan would do.
Also,I'm tired and bored.
And I swear I ate something funny.

This thread is for discussing the relationship between YowKow and Haseo. Your post did nothing close to that, only cheering on the pairing as you said, which was pretty much spam.
Anyways, onto the comparison between Haseo's relationship with Atoli and YowKow.
Atoli: This relationship is more of a growing relationship where Haseo grew to like Atoli. This relationship developed the most out of the other relationships.
YowKow: This relationship came out of nowhere and had little development.

good point,I just like getting told off my non-mod people(no offense mods).
It gets things in perspective.
I admit my mistake, and hope this thread will prospere, and no more shadow moding will have to be done, cuz I love Alkiad,(a name I find much sexier looking than yowkow)and hope people will keep talking about her here.

*PHEW*
Grr. Don't you dare "phew" me ><
'tis a bad thing... a bad bad thing. She's supposed to get kissed. Ah well, at least she gets a hug.
Just like Fragments.beta said
Oh, please. You guys give Yowkow too much credit. And t_s_u just likes to piss me off, which is probably why she's gone uber Yowkow fangirl lately...
I agree that Haseo would probably never end up with anyone.
To be unbiased, everyone losing means nobody winning, if you get what I'm talking about.
Pfftt... so what if we do? And no, I don't "just like to piss you off" ... although I do that a lot anyway. I've always been a Yowkow fangirl, ever since she was announced ;D although now I like her more since I actually know more about her ><
Wow he agrees o.o;;
---
I still support HaseoxYowkow more than HaseoxAtoli, although I do see what people are trying to say. Atoli had more of a relationship with Haseo more than anyone... Buuut what Annwyn said can be true too. That it's all just symbolic.
Keh... I suck at symbolism

The Yowkow relationship did not spring out of nowhere. Her crush came when Haseo steped down from his championship title in order to help her. Let me quote the scene (note this is a BAD translation but its legible)
:What?
Y:You easily throw it away...Champion's seat.
H:I did not want to become a champion...
H:The fact that I defeated it to Endrance doesn't disappear,if the title is lost.
Y:You sound ....... like Tenrow.
Y:......Thank you haseo.
H:What?formally
Y:Ummm...hereafter...could you be going to adventure together with me?
H:...Yes.
Y:Really! If it is so...my best rgard!
Y:(starts blushing)...I'll inform you in advance,I am single-minded and persistent
Y:Then, invite me! I will be angry if no invitation!
Haseo basicaly did a favor for her, when all she did was ask for help. I imagine Yowkow was quite touched and perhaps a little guilty at this. This is what mainly develops her as well, hanging around with Haseo has taught her not to be so uptight with a championship title. Little or no development? Pfffft. Haseo and Yowkow hang out in training missions and the like. Yes it is not as devloped as Atoli, but it is a solid relationship. If it had little or no development, Haseo would not have been such a crybaby when Yowkow went into a coma.

usaxoR wrote:though Atoli never got hugged, he did ditch shino to go after her at the end of the game
that does deserve some kinda recognition, even though he shows lot of emotion towards losing Yowkow
He showed a lot of emotion when Atoli was attacked but AIDA, but he was hit harder when Yowkow was fading like Shino was.
I agree with Umbra in that Atoli's relationship is deeper and that Yowkow is more of a romantic interest than much else.

Haseo and Alkaid just get along eaiser than Haseo and Atoli do, probably because Alkaid is more talkative in general. The fact that her and Haseo warm up to each other in nearly half the time that it took Haseo and Atoli to (nearly all of Volume 1) even though they had a far more hostile atitude toward each other at first (Haseo only found Atoli annoying while he hated Alkaid) is proof of that. Atoli for the most part never says much or never finishes her statements.
Compare their endings
Atoli-Haseo you really came....um.....(silence)
Alkaid- She talks way to fast for me to get all of it but an important thing she says is she tells Haseo that he's "Her prince that opened her eyes" or something like that. That's pretty romantic for her to say.
Anyway the main reason Alkaid warms up to Haseo is that she realizes she had him pegged all wrong (that he only wants to dominate the tournament to be well known) and that he's really a nice guy and only entered the tournament to beat Endrance. And he apparantly tells her about Avatar's and AIDA since she identifies Bordeaux as being AIDA infected during their encounter.
Although you know I don't actually know what caused to turn to Haseo for help in the first place, as I imagine she still hates him at the beginning of Vol.2.

Tenrawr's AIDA infection.

I know that I mean what made her go to Haseo of all people for help for Tenrow who also has nothing to do with Haseo.

Maybe she realized that whatever is going on with Tenrawr is somehow related to Haseo? I don't know, I haven't played Volume 2 yet.

Desperation. Haseo was the only one she knew could help her get to Tenrow. Endrance was pretty much an emotional wreck.

But how did she know Haseo was connected to what was wrong with Tenrow is my question.
