I like Atoli more ^_^ , I liked shino in hack Roots
but Haseo must let go his first love

Yes, okay. I've beaten Volume three and I have Shino.
I hate her.
I don't know exactly why, but I do. I HATE her........ </3
I love atoli, though XD <3

I don't really see the big connection between Shino and Haseo. She relied on him when Ovan disappeared but that seemed more like he was just being used by her in his place. Atoli and Haseo actually rely on each other and help each other grow as better people.

And I just generally prefer Atoli. She got actual development as the series went on while we reallly don't know too terribly much about Shino and what goes on in her mind.

Atoli wins my vote.

In my previous post, I chose Shino, but it is true that he must let go of his first love.

I do not believe that Shino USED Haseo, I think he LET Shino have him for what he could be there for, to let her know that he would be there for her. I also believe he had a crush on her. But Shino was always more drawn to Ovan, if you think about it. The loss of Ovan was what she was getting over. But the fact that he WANTED to help get her out of the coma was like him being a hero, which is a well known theme in .hack.

When Atoli drops in, true, she and Haseo bond and grow together. I do not deny that Atoli is the better choice for Haseo, they need eachother. Still, the acceptance is pushed against the fact that Haseo treats Atoli like a kid sometimes in the game, SOMETIMES (only sometimes in certain cutscenes..don't shoot me)... it seems like a big brother love. He actually treats Shino ALL THE TIME like a friend or woman (though not like he loves her). SHORT: Haseo likes to kid with Atoli because guys do that when they like someone. I accept Atoli as the better choice for Haseo... I just like the mystery and character traits Shino possesses.

I like em both bout the same but you really can't vote if you haven't seen ROOTS cuz it's being unfair to shino. So b4 you vote watch ROOTS.

shino although atoli gets the most playable of the three volumes shino I think surprisingly gets the most attention I mean if shino didn't get data drained then there would be no story altogether hence why I said "most attention"

u guys so strict at all. they re all the same. Ovan to Shino is just like Sakaki to Atoli (hate those 2 mans >''<)
All what Haseo have done throughout the 3 vols,is just to cure Shino away from comatose. thats a bit touch to me Y.,,.Y.
But then,all the ways Haseo has Atoli,always with him ( shes a Harvest Cleric,cant miss in party!). thats a bit touch ,too
So then, i agree to choose Atoli, but couldn leave Shino if i were Haseo , get along with both! XD

I've only seen Shino in Roots, as I've never owned a G.U. game, and I pretty much only know Atoli from the G.U.+ manga, and the .hack Wiki... But from what I can tell, I like Atoli more.

I like Atoli.... i mean, i prefer green than dark

but...when it comes to battle... i prefer Shino, because in the end i compared between Shino stats and Atoli stats....

I kinda like them both.
Atoli's cool because she admires Haseo so much, and Shino's cool because her outfit is awesome and she's more mature than Atoli. On the other hand they both have bad points. Atoli's way too happy ("Look at the flowers Haseo! Let's be all loving and caring, Haseo") but Shino treats Haseo like a little kid and acts superior to him.

Overall, I guess I choose Atoli.
