There is still somebody who doesn't know what a Steam Gunner is? -_-'
A Steam Gunner uses a form of weapon that is a cross between a sword and a rifle, this allows them to attack from a distance and still fight at close quarters. Both Ovan and Kuhn are Steam Gunners.

So the Steam Gunner is mostly both a close/distant type. Like a combination of a wavemaster and Heavy Blade or Blade Master.
I'm still getting use to the changes so I only know a couple. Plus this is th best place to get this information so I can share it with the people in .Hack//Catacylsm.

I think its slightly different, they don't cast spells or anything, we have Harvests and Warlocks doing that.
They seem to be capable of targetting and attacking a monster from a distance with their gun as well as fighting up close.
If you look through previous posts you will find lists of the ten new classes and their corresponding characters.

Yeah. I found them. They were really informative but I'm still shocked about the new classes and the old version aren't in G.U.

They do appear, in a sense, in GU...of course, they have been re-named and varied slightly.
Twin Blade = Twin Sword
Heavy Blade & Heavy Axeman = Brandish
Blademaster = Blade
Wavemaster = Harvest & Warlock
Long Arm = Partisan
The new classes may have merged the styles of older classes or split them apart, but essentially, their weapons or fighting style remain largely unaltered.
Those that are new, both in weapon and style, are Steam Gunner, Danse Macabre, and Grappler.

What is the Danse Macabre and Grappler? Those are two other classes that I need information on.

Danse Macabre use a pair of fans and fight in a sort of dancing style, the only character seen that belongs to this class is Yata.
Grapplers simply fight with their fists, using punches, kicks, etc. Similar to the Kickboxer class in LotT. Again, there is only one known character that belongs to this class and this is Pai.

Dancing Marabre are dancers. I wonder, was that class thought to like Twin Swords? Okay and Grapplers are like Ouka from the .Hack//Dusk. Thank you.

Initially, many of us believed that Twin Blades had 'evolved' into the Danse Macabre and that they may just use a wider range of weapons, which explained the fans.
However, with the appearence of Negimaru and the confirmation of his class; Twin Sword, many people began to grow confused.
In The World magazine, it was confirmed that Danse Macabre fought exclusively with a pair of fans. The reason I think of them as separate is because their fighting style appears to differ from that of Twin Blades.

Don't worry I confused Dancing Macabra to be twin blades at first. Now, I understand a little bit better. It would be interesting if that's the reason Dancing Macabra was created to somewhat mimic Twin Blades from the old version. [/url]

I wrote:Warlock
Spellcasters who specialize in offensive magic. Though lacking in physical strength, their powerful magic is a great asset in battle.
Harvest
The opposite of Warlocks, these spellcasters specialize in healing magic. They provide support in combat, and assist their companions.
