Re: New Tsukasa/Haseo
Well to fair he is just killing people, the reason why don't seem to be stated. He could just be defending himself. At least he isn't an annoying screaming emo jerk to other people(yet).
And I dig his new cloak, but his 1st form is still pretty dull.

That's such a bad@$$ way to "just defend himself", definetly XDFragments.beta wrote:Well to fair he is just killing people, the reason why don't seem to be stated. He could just be defending himself. At least he isn't an annoying screaming emo jerk to other people(yet).

But if Asukai is right, he says something about Tri-Edge when he glares at whoever is behind him (which i hope it's Tokio..i'd LOVE to see his expression after such massacre XD), and based on what's going with Tsukasa and what Kite said about "taking away his friends", i guess that there's indeed been some messing with their heads, and they're back to the way they were before their development (like AT said). I hope there's a good explanation to all of this though.

Where was my theory? Oh, right...
Samael wrote: But since that's out the window, I wanna say...new black box. Maybe a history of The World(R1, R2 and maybe even Fragment). Hence Akashic Records. And gaining access to it lets you become a new god(dess) of the world.
If it is like a history of The World, then since the Chrono Cores are the ways to access it, they let the holder tap into their personal history and bring back something from their past, even if it was black box worthy(like an Epitaph or a Twilight Bracelet). It could even be a medium for 'regular'(ie: non-chosen by an epitaph/Aura) player to access the blackbox.
And in turn, if they do this, the 'old them' takes over.
A-hyuck. Just swap Shino for Tri-Edge.Samael wrote:So if my theory is true, and Haseo is carrying a Chrono Core, he will still have Skeith, but he may revert to being power mad/obsessed with finding Shino.

I wondered too, when I saw that. Haseo is definitely searching for Tri Edge. So if he is a real person, then he doesn't have any memory? But that would be stupid, since Shino isn't in a coma anymore. How would he react, if someone tells him that "Tri Edge" doesn't exist anymore and Shino is healthy? Would he just ignore that fact? It seems like they (Tsukasa, Haseo...) are really only some sort of AIs, I can't imagine something else... Maybe they're all thinking that they are able to log out but in reality, they don't do it. Some sort of a dream or something like that...
The other thing I don't like (at least for now), is the whole transfer-body-to-data-thing. Until now I thought that it was just Tokio imagine it (the Tokio-AI theory), but the problem is that the same thing (disappearing of the body) seems to happen in the Twilight Novel/s. I don't know, how they will explain that in a credibly way. One of the things I like the most of .hack, is that everything that happens is very realistic (compared to other anime etc). Even the Tsukasa-syndrom isn't as unbelievable as it seems at first. There are many scientific theories about "Out of Body Experiences" etc. But that a whole body is disappearing in front of a PC isn't possible. I just...don't like the idea; that doesn't mean that I hate LINK or something. I really want to read the Twilight novels and LINK. I just hope that everything will stay somehow logical and that they don't begin to use some kind of magic to explain everything.

Re: New Tsukasa/Haseo
Agreed. Thats what I love about .hack. It requires a certain suspension of disbelief, but can still remian logical in a sense. Only Tsukasa's "out-of-body" seems unexplainable, but it wasn't too bad considering it was a necessary plot device for Tsukasa's character development. But the events of LINK seem just outright magic.Adhemas wrote:The other thing I don't like (at least for now), is the whole transfer-body-to-data-thing. Seeing that Haseo is after Tri-Edge, I'm starting to wonder if my retarded theory of Time Travel might actually be viable. Please writers, let it not be so!

As for the Tsukasa thing, there's lots of evidence in the .hack series that points to the existence of psychic phenomena.

Re: New Tsukasa/Haseo
my guess is that is the Chrono Cores fault it may erase memory or return people to there negative selfs like tsukasa antisocial status at the begining of sign and Haseo bloodthursty self from the end of roots and the beginig of Gu

Um...Tsukasa didn't change at all; I'm pretty sure someone already posted his appearance in the manga (somewhere in this forum >__>;;).Twilisapien wrote:for some strange reason, im having a vision that tsukasa will come out with player character that is tanned, tall, twin bladed, and a long braided ponytail
